Designed for your comfort and ease, our apartments feature either a kitchenette or a full kitchen, individual climate control, and private bathrooms with options for accessibility. Maintenance and weekly housekeeping are available. Emergency response pull-cords are located in each apartment, as well.</p>
<h3>Care Types Offered</h3>
<p>Schooner Estates is a <em>Level IV residential care facility</em>. In the state of Maine, these terms are defined as follows: </p>
<p><strong>Residential Care Facility</strong> <br>
A house or other place that provides assisted living services to residents. Residential care facilities provide housing and services to residents in private or semi-private bedrooms in buildings with common living areas and dining areas. There are four levels of residential care facilities: </p>
<p><strong>Level I:</strong> A facility with a licensed capacity of one or two residents.<br>
<strong>Level II:</strong> A facility with a licensed capacity of three to six residents<br>
<strong>Level III:</strong> A facility with a licensed capacity of three to six residents, and which employs three or more persons who are not owners and are not related to the owner.<br>
<strong>Level IV:</strong> A facility with a licensed capacity of more than six residents.</p>
