DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I am no longer living there. When I originally moved there, I had a great impression of the community. However, I became displeased when I realized that I did not have an oven. I was not pleased with the fact that my 1 bedroom was outdated and did not have an oven, and they had no intentions of replacing the stove unit. (Other apartments had an oven.) The sliding glass door did not have a key and they had no intentions of making one. I was told not to worry about locking it when I go out because the community was safe. They indicated that the sliding glass door was going to be replaced, but they made no attempt to do so until I left. It's also important to know that if rent is missed, arrangements can be made but have to made by a certain date or there would be an automatic eviction. Many other residents have been evicted and have left on their own because of that issue or because of the fact that maintenance was slow and that the facility was outdated and did not warrant the amount of the rent. They made it very easy to move in, but after moving in, things changed over time, especially with new management. I understand that other communities are more expensive, but they are updated and have better services. I would not recommend Revela to anyone, unless the "cheaper price", and outdated appearance doesn't matter.

All in all a great place
The staff seems very helpful and they try hard to blend new and existing residents in the dining room and for many of the activities. They have a new activities director who seems nice and enthusiastic. They just re-painted the pool this spring and they keep the grounds looking very nice and clean.

Overall it is a great place.
Even though it is independent living, there are several nurses that can be hired privately to help out.
They seem to only have one handyman that can't seem to catch up. There are several broken porch lights and the underground plumbing needs work.

Highly Recommended
The staff is very friendly and creates a very nice atmosphere, housekeeping is pretty minimal. The move-in process was easy and they completely redo each of the apartments before you move in and the meals are excellent, really good quality. I eat there with my sister and it's great. I would highly recommend the facility.

We toured Sandpiper Village during our search for an Independent Living community. This community never made it to our top 5. The facility is older, has fewer amenities, and looked like it is geared more towards Assisted Living than Independent Living. I will say, it was one of the lowest costing facilities that we toured. The apartments just would not have been what we were wanting. However, the residents that we talked to there certainly seemed to be happy with their choice. I just wanted more!

Sandpiper Village has a very friendly, welcoming, and patient staff that answered all of my questions. Incredible activities director that is loved by the residents. And a clean and safe place that gave me peace of mind for my mom.

My sister lives at Sandpiper Village and overall, everything has been great! The activities are really good and the Activity Director is super. The dining room staff is very friendly and kind. The housekeeping is fair. The food quality is very good. The residents are friendly The apartments are spacious and updated. I would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.

Caring and honest staff
The manager when our loved one was moving in was so accommodating and has continued to be - she gave our loved one an electric scoot on her first day and even helped us with our loved ones living room furniture. The staff have always been willing to work with us. They have just gone above and beyond. They have a gourmet chef there which is our loved ones favorite thing - that is the biggest highlight. They have plenty of activities going on - social and happy hours every day. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Easy Transition For My Dad from Living with Family to Living Independently
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They are a good value for you money. They have apartments and this is completely separate from the assisted living. There is an outdoor pool that is heated. They really care about the residents.
The food is pretty much made from scratch and good tasting. There is a daily soup and choices of entrees for lunch and dinner. Plus there are other options for the residents to choose from, if the residents don't like what is being served.
Some of the activities available are bridge, bingo, choir group, field trips, and more for the residents to choose from for activities.

Happy with Sandpiper Village
We chose Sandpiper Village because they gave us a great deal and I knew someone who used to live here and loved it. My mom absolutely loved it more than any place she was at previously. The room sizes are average. The food here is very good, they serve the food restaurant style with a menu that has choices. My favorite part about the community would be the staff members and the residents. I would absolutely recommend.
