Only issues I have with this place - the different shifts of care workers don't always pass along definite care issues I need done for my mom everyday single day and on weekends
Communications between the shifts need improving
They also have too many people quitting too often and new people being trained to take over which makes it hard to learn my moms care needs.

Lovely facility, great staff.
Interactions with staff have been pleasant. Mother likes the food and activities. Packages get delivered to her room if too large for mail box. She initially thought she would not need the kitchen but has utilized it and is making Christmas cookies.

Caring staff.
They vet & employ their own caretakers so they are supervised.
My mom, says everyone is very nice to her!
She requires a lot of care, so the cost is on the high side.
They have studio & 1 bedrooms for assisted living.
One & 2 bedrooms for independent living. Independent living has washer dryer & full kitchen with dishwasher.

Everything is clean and visually appealing. The staff go out of their way to accommodate you whenever something comes up. The monthly cost is $500 more at Rose Senior Living, but [name removed] loves her new room and the staff. I agree with her.

Terrible Experience With Medication Administration
Continually short-staffed in the medicine administration area, causing many late med administrations. My mother, who has chronic pain just went through a half-day of distress because her morning medications were not administered to her. I was on site at the facility at the time and found that there was no nurse on duty, and only one med tech who was overwhelmed and referred me to Management. This ongoing issue is the responsibility of Management to address and correct, and I have gotten no response from top leadership when inquiring about it. This should not be happening given what my mother is paying to live here and obtain the staff services.

[name removed] is great. Mom is adjusting to her new situation and residence. Everyone is very nice, supportive, and responsive. She is getting great care from the techs, nurse, and PT. She has not been involved with the activities but she has done more as time goes on. Lots to offer. We are really happy she is safe and getting good care.

Our families experience
The reason is I feel they are understaffed in dinning area and we wait a little too long when we sit down and have some one comes over. Although she's does participate they have a wide range of activities. The cost went up this year and feel it was a big increase, I know they addressed it as they didn't have a increase in a while

My loved one was previously a resident at Rose Senior Living at Clinton Township and everyone and everything was great! The staff was great. The facility was clean and the dining room was always good. I have nothing bad to say, for sure. I will recommend Rose Senior Living at Clinton Township to others.

I think residents should get more meals. They serve nothing to these people after 5. EVERYONE eats after 5. All depends on who's working some staff will get food some will not. I have had to tell them numerous times DO NOT TAKE MY MOM'S FOOD. She will still be eating or playing with it and they take it away.

Our Experience
My loved one is a resident at Rose Senior Living. Many of the chairs and sofas have urine stains. Some aides have made comments to my loved one that she doesn't try hard enough to move her limbs or to stand on her own. She has Parkinson's disease and some days she struggles with movement. It's very upsetting to her and to us. Overall, the staff is good. Some staff members could be considered for extra training in compassion care. I am not sure about the activities since I am not there weekly.

Moms First Day
After taking care of my mom for many months I could no longer provide her with the care she needed. I started looking for care facilities and toured 5 local facilities. I cried for weeks and was so worried about what her life would be like when she left our home. Then I walked into Rose. I met with [name removed] who was kind and understanding . Very professional and listened to my fears. We toured the facility and I loved it!!! The room in memory care would be perfect for mom. Mom moved in 2 days ago. We were greeted at the door. We went to her room where her aides and staff all met her and talked and laughed. We then had a lovely dinner in their beautiful dining room. So this has been our experience so far. Im hoping we have the best experience going forward.

Some of the staff here were great and some were absolutely awful. I would tell others looking- Do not use this facility if your loved one requires a significant amount of care.

Tour experience
The tour experience at Rose Senior Living Clinton Township was really good. The facility was just too big and too much was going on, it was not a good fit for my dad. The whole tour experience was set up and organized so well. A Place for Mom made the whole process so easy for our family.

Expectations went downhill fast after patient was admitted!!!
Expectations were high with orientation. From the move in, things kind of went downhill. Communication being the biggest. Also we were never told about the neighborhood being employed by aides only. I think we should have been told. (Spending a lot of their time on their phones) not much attention given to the residents. If /when I ever have to do this again, now I'm more "experienced" and will certainly ask more questions.

All of the staff are friendly, easy to talk to, and happy to help in any way that they can.
The facility is clean and easy to navigate. A very friendly environment.
The bedroom in memory care is about 8×10. Plus bathroom with shower, short hallway. Sink and mini fridge as well.
I believe all facility's are over priced, but we have been very happy with Rose Senior Living at Clinton Township.
