I would really like to thank [name removed] for all her assistance moving my brother into Applewood New Berlin. She went above and beyond making the transition go smooth on moving day. I wasn't able to go into the building but she had the new furniture all setup for him. He just needed to bring in his clothes and some other personal items. [name removed] helped him put things away and organized his room. So far he likes it there. He enjoys getting 3 awesome meals a day. Very friendly staff.

They do not pay their bills
Hire us to repair HVAC system at both locations and never paid their invoice. They have stiffed my others as well. If they dont take care of people who work for them, will they take care of your loved ones?

Tour of Robins Landing
I toured Robins Landing at New Berlin, and I'm sure the caretakers are really nice. However, I was not impressed. It didn't smell good, the meals looked icky, and the rooms were small and outdated. This community needs a lot of work.

Wonderful
I had a tour with the marketing lady [name removed]. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The building was very clean and the staff introduced themselves during the tour. The plan was to have my father go there, but unfortunately passed away before I could make the move. [name removed] followed up a few days after the tour and offered her condolences, which I thought was very nice. Definitely would recommend this community to a friend.

I would tell people to look around. The one thing I feel bad about the meals weren't very good. The food came cold a lot of the time to the residents. The new cook uses spices in the food.
There hasn't been any beautician in the community, because of this several residents can't get their hair done.
The community and nurses are very nice and friendly.
They have a new manager, activities director, and a new cook.
This is an older community, and the pictures they showed on the internet was another community in Brookfield.

Love It!
I'm so happy with Applewood of New Berlin. The care my mother is receiving is great. She is kept clean and looks good. Her room is clean and cozy, I never smell urine or have any complaints in that regard. If I have a question or issue they are on top of it. No complaints at all I wish I have had her there sooner.

[name removed] was very easy to work with. She listened to what we needed and was there to help me every step of the way. I feel she went out of her way to help me get a loved one into her facility. Applewood of New Berlin is nice. The people are wonderful. Her room looks great. She's made two friends there already. She was distressed because of the death of my father, so they had her helping prepare stuff in the kitchen just to occupy her time. She's already had a hair spa day. They're being very good with her. We've already taken her out of the place three times and taken her on trips ourselves. She's only been in there for a week. I've only seen the room virtually. The girl took pictures and did a live walk around and it looks very nice. Every single home I looked at and the things that I specified looked identical. They're set up the same, they looked the same, and the people were nice, but this one was close to my brother and he wants to be close to my mother, so it won. I went to visit her there. They need to weed their outside area, but because of Covid, I'm sure they aren't getting a lot of things done. They're doing well. [name removed], the marketing director, has been nothing, but fantastic. I saw the facilities virtually, and it looked like they had just about everything that everybody else had. It looked fine to me.

Applewood has been a good fit for my Dad. It is clean, caregivers are kind. He is not too happy about the food. Would be nice if he had a choice for his main meal. Because of covid, he is not able to be outside very much. He misses the sunshine and fresh air. Overall, it is a safe, pleasant home for him.
