Shocking
Residents are being mistreated and not professionally taken care of. The fire department has called the state to report the condition of residents, And not having medical information on the clients. Sadly this facility can't even keep proper supplies. Gloves, washing detergent, garbage bags. There are days that pass just for residents to have a glass of milk. The staff has complained about the things that's going on, and especially about the lack of supplies.

Not the setting my parents need at this point. My mother in law was a resident here three years ago. Was a great facility at that time, great fit for her memory and end of life needs

They price swap after your unpacked. I filled out the lengthy application, did the nurse interview, and confirmed for different times about the price. After we were unpacked they made us fill out the application again . This time on the very last page they switch the price . When I asked the lady she said oh don’t worry you need to spend down anyway . After two days of feeding my mom only small amount if carbohydrates only, I pulled her out If there. I look at death certificates for a living and now I understand why people die of malnutrition . They must be in facilities likE this.

This placed has changed tremendously under new ownership. It is a shame to see what was once such a beautiful well ran place turn into what it has become. The food is terrible, the care is mediocre, the new management allows unbelievable things to go on. They do still have some wonderful caregivers but they are overworked and under appreciated. If you value your loved ones quality of life do not move them in. There is a reason they have 19 empty beds.

Good tour
This community is nice and they do offer small studio sized apartments. The people I met were nice. This community was a little expensive and they do not offer transportation.

Tour Felt Rushed, Not What We Were Looking For
I toured this community to look into options for respite care for my husband. My tour was okay. When I first arrived it didn't feel like a good time to take a tour. I felt like I was interrupting their day. The tour was a bit rushed. The impression I got from this community, is that it is more of a long term facility, and that was not what I was looking for.

Tips for evaluating your community options

Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Assisted Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:

  • Tour the location: Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

  • Confirm the availability of required services: Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.

  • Know the Wisconsin regulations for Assisted Living: Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you’re considering. Learn more about Wisconsin regulations for Assisted Living.
