First, staff is attentive to all residents and staff communicate with each other on updates of residents. The reason we chose Regency that it has more of a homey feel. It has only two floors. Most residents reside on second floor. First floor is the concierge desk, living room, TV room, di...ning room, and offices. There is an outdoor enclosed courtyard. There is another building where activities are done. The rooms are large, but bathroom is small. Activities are similar to other senior residences -- arts and crafts, movement exercises, music, and special events. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the communication between family and staff has been excellent.

A convenient place in a residential neighborhood
We found a one bedroom unit at Regency for my mother. We moved her in, very easily, and they took over her care from a private caregiver that was operating out of my mother‘s house. We found the socialization to be a positive for my mother, something she wasn’t getting in her private residence with just a caregiver on site. Regency seemed attentive to her needs, as well as offering her activities that were not available at her house. They attempted to accommodate her dining needs and desires, as well as different forms of distraction, whether that be arts and crafts, movies, music, etc..

Recommend
I was very happy with my mother's stay at Regency Park Oak Knoll. I was particularly happy with all the activities that they offered. My mother is still quite able-bodied, and they paired her with a group of similarly active people. Everyone on the staff seemed personally invested and treated residents with a genuine kindness. I miss visiting with them.
I highly recommend Regency Park Oak Knoll.

Support, warmth, and understanding.
The transition from home into care can be filled with stress, especially regarding the unknowns. The staff at Regency Park Oak Knoll supported my father and our family throughout the move and beyond. The staff is warm, reaponaive, and caring, creating a home where residents and families feel welcome and known. Every visit left me feeling reassured that dad was where he needed to be. Great Place for my wife
Regency Park Oak Knoll has been a great experience for our family. My wife has FTD with Aphasia. The staff at Oak Knoll do a great job in providing caring, professional care for her. We looked at five other facilities and Oak Knoll was the facility that best suited our needs. Highly recommend.

Excellent facilities and Staff
My wife was a resident at Regency Park up until she passed. The facilities and staff there are excellent. Everyone always has a smile and is very helpful including getting my wife in and out of the car. The nursing staff is excellent also. Food and activities were wonderful. Highly recommended.

We feel cared for.
It’s never easy to place a loved one in a long term facility..in our case for memory care. The people at Regency Park Oak Knoll are kind and very understanding. Every day they work with such incredible patience and do their best to make residents feel comfortable and there is always something to do! The food is good, location easy and my mom’s room is always clean and orderly. I appreciate the homey feeling and staff are always there to remedy the situation when things get a little agitated, as they sometimes do. I’m very thankful for finding Regency Park Oak Knoll.

The entire building is memory care with a large outdoor space and a pond. The rooms come furnished which is a bonus. We really liked the atmosphere over there and it smelled nice. I believe they were doing a “tai chi” class when we visited.

The staff at Oak Knoll is uniformly trained to provide the best possible service to the residents. I think they go the extra mile to make sure that people who suffer from memory loss, like my loved one, can experience a reduction in the anxiety that people with Alzheimer's/dementia typically experience. I think they're tremendously comprehensive in their approach. Everyone is so caring toward the residents. It's the best one can hope for regarding care of their loved ones who are experiencing extreme memory loss. My loved one tells me the food is good, and I see that they have a varied menu that changes every night. They have some staple dishes that stay the same and then some specials that are offered. They keep the activities stimulating and encourage the residents to recall memories that they find appealing and positive to reflect on. I think that helps with overall anxiety reduction. Memory loss is a terrible thing and understandably generates a lot of anxiety, and they do a great job with their staff training, from top to bottom. They all seem to be on the same page as to what they're supposed to be doing.

Safe and caring community
My husband recently stayed at Regency Park Park Knoll in Pasadena, CA. At the time we were not sure if it was for long term residency or a short respite period as we were waiting to see how my husband's condition progressed. Fortunately,
my husband's conditioned improved during his month long stay and was able to return home.
The facility is clean, warm, and welcoming. I especially liked that my husband had his own room with an outdoor patio.
I visited quite frequently and always found the employees to be caring, helpful and friendly. I also had an opportunity to meet some of my husband's new friends and they all seem happy and well cared for. They have numerous activities each week if the residents close to participate.
I highly recommend this assisted living/ memory center if you are in need of a caring community for your love one.

Relieved that my parents are in a wonderful place
Getting my parents, who were declining from dementia, into a safe placement during Covid was a challenge. Luckily, we were put in touch with Regency Park Oak Knoll. The entire team there gave us the support we needed to make this difficult transition go as smoothly as possible. During the 6 months that my parents have been there now, their health has really improved. All of the staff we have met are genuinely friendly, cheerful, patient, attentive, and well-trained in assisting individuals with dementia. My folks are kept stimulated each day with a variety of activities. There are also special trips and events to look forward to. They enjoy the food and attractively landscaped grounds. From day one, I had peace of mind knowing that my parents were safe in good hands, and in a very well-run care home.

Large, beautiful courtyard with fountain. (Lots of activities are held out there.) Entire building is Memory Care, so residents aren't confined to just a part of it. Rooms have lots of storage space, but aren't finished as nicely as some other places. Some furniture (bed, nightstands, dresser) is included. Many employees have been there for many years.
