Good place.

Warning
As far as Regal Estates, they have burned through 3 executive directors since January and I heard this week they finally fired their nurse (she really was bad) We filed 3 reports with the State because of ongoing medication errors. I can't recommend Regal to anyone. The food is bad, no activities, medication errors and poor leadership. I would definitely warn folks. It is a shame...

Amazing staff
Our family is thrilled with this facility for our mother. Her room was clean and ready to go. The staff is so attentive and has gone over and beyond what we expected. The nurse was so kind to my mother and has taken over the burden of giving my mom her medication.
We asked for blinds on her window and they were put on within 20 minutes.
We thank the good Lord for this facility and would encourage anyone to move mom or dad in.

Horrible Business Practices
We moved my mom into Regal Estates approximately 18 months before she passed away on [date removed]. The care was good. Most were friendly. We did have problems with things coming up missing along the way including her wedding ring just before her death. From a business standpoint, however, Regal Estates is cold and greedy. They raised the rent by 10% after 6 months, asked for a $[removed] retainer to cover hurricane care & evacuation (They asked for this at the start of hurricane season with no previous indication that this would be required) and finally they collected a final month’s rent after my mom had already died. We have been unable to get them to take our calls or return them about this final payment collected. They don’t take or return any calls. They have shown no sympathy or offered any assistance during our time of loss. They are cold hearted and lack any compassion. It’s sad that people can be like this. Based on my experience, I would go elsewhere.

Review for Regal Estates of League City
You should try it for one month if you don't like, so be it. I am getting on the waitlist for ten years from now.The cost was at a price I could afford at the time. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. They were very caring. The play is very spacious and clean. 24 hour assessable for family members.

Not Bad
I am currently a resident at Regal Estates of League City and my overall experience at this facility has been pretty good so far. The cleanliness of the facility is great. The staff is nice. The food is okay. They do offer a lot of activities. The resident rooms are okay. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Tarnished Golden Years
There are many issues... On the positive... The apartments are very large. This is why I haven't moved my loved one, the apartment is amazing.
There are no exercise programs, no enrichment unless you like Bingo.
The food is not good. The hallways have a lingering bad odor. They cancel the few activities they do have without notification. The staff is not professional or well trained. There are many medication mistakes. There are 15 or more vacant apartments on the adjacent hallway to my loved one.
I would make a different choice if I could and would not recommend this place to anyone, even under the new management. Just being honest.

Great activities
What we really like about the community are the activities - they have so many different things throughout the week for the residents, they do a really great job keeping them busy. We do think they can improvement on working better together as a team and have more attention to detail. With these improvements, we would recommend Regal Estates to other families.

Tour experience
We had an amazing tour experience with Regal Estates. It was a very very nice place but it was crazy expensive. My loved one makes less than what their monthly cost was so unfortunately it was just not going to work out for us financially.

I am Happy With the Care They Are Giving to My Loved One
I would tell others I have been satisfied with our experience so far. There have been a few things I haven't been pleased with. There used to be choices for entrees for meals and now the menu doesn't have the choices. It would be nice to see the choices back for the residents to choose for their meals.
The meals can be delivered to the resident's rooms; however, there is a charge. If your loved one is ill, then there may not be a charge associated with delivering of the meals.
The staff communication with the family has been great!

Regal Estates Review
My impression is that my friend is thriving here at Regal Estates. It is a great environment and this is the best I have seen her do in years. She just got moved to a studio apartment and she is so happy. I would absolutely recommend them to others - this place is high above other facilities that I have had experience with.

I would recommend
The community is older but it is well maintained. We have a few things we are working out but it would be anywhere we went. They always take care of it. We are please with them. I would recommend this home and it is a great community for your loved ones to have independence in a safe environment.

We had a good tour overall at Regal Estates. It was a little too large for our mom to feel comfortable. It was an older facility as well, and the staff weren't quite as friendly as other places we looked at.
