One of the Best I've seen
I can only guess that the place has undergone yet another ownership change because some of these reviews seem to be about an entirely different place. The furniture is in better shape than my own, and I'm picky enough to have mine cleaned every year. Lack of food? I'm stunned because I brought snacks and drinks that my mom, specially requested, and we had to make room in the fridge. The prepared meals are of the same quality I'll eat and feed my friends and family. Aggressive dogs? Yeah, we're definitely talking about another place. My mom is aware and vocal enough to speak up, and she's not had a single complaint. The staff astounds *me* with their attentiveness to her individual needs and requests. I'd recommend Rainbow Gardens in a heartbeat. Also, I looked at no fewer than 5 different home-based facilities for my mom. This one ranked in the top-3 . I also live in town, and visit almost every day.

Rainbow Gardens has been a godsend
After being admitted into rehabilitation in December, my sister and I made the difficult decision to find an assisted living community for our mother. After touring many other places, we met with the owner of Rainbow Gardens. They have an open-door policy and invited us to tour both of their homes whenever we were ready. We met with the manager, the staff and the owners three different times before finally choosing to bring our mother to Rainbow Gardens. It was a big decision, and they were extremely patient and accommodating. Since then, we are very pleased with deciding to place our mom here. The staff is great! They are extremely observant and loving, and they do put the residents first. The home is always clean and the meals look amazing. My family is very close, and we also appreciate that this is a family-owned business. We recommend them to everyone!

Keep your loved ones away
This is one of the worst. This doesn't deserve any form of a star... due to the new owners of this company residents have suffered! The fridge is only stocked with the bare necessities! Residents often go without their favorite foods and cravings due to budget cuts! The furniture is old and doesn't provide elderly residents with the support they need for their fragile aging bodies. The new owners have purchased two recliners preowned and worn down. elevateing their feet is important and as we know water retaining is often present with our elderly loved ones. The septic if often full and residents forced to use commodes for longer then a 24 hour period and not only use them but share them amongst 6 people including staff and family members. Also The new owners have found that yelling in front of the residents is okay because they belong to her she frequently states. She has placed residents in danger by not bringing The correct accommodations for The needed resident. It appears that The whole house is upset Becasue dog therapy is taken away while The new owners family member is aloud and her dog is aggressive. We no longer feel happy going to work Becasue of The many negative changes. Manager and staff are amazing they put The residents first. The staff seems to be very observant and loving. For the amount of money it costs out of pocket to keep our loved ones in such facility I would expect better accommodations and a more caring owners.

It's Wonderful.
It’s Wonderful! They were just so caring and concerned for their people. There are only six residents and two care givers. All home cooked meals. They don’t do as many activities maybe, but that’s based on the residents they have in the home. They do birthday parties – things like that.
