our family's memory care experience
The location is always very clean and the staff is welcoming. Food is good and my father eats well and he's a picky eater. Activities are good however recommend family involvement to make sure they can go to the main building events. Sometimes it's not easy contacting nursing staff by phone.

Beautiful community. I liked that the memory care section was on the first and second floors and had a double door system. I didn’t like that the activity area was a part of the dining area or that the A/C system was separate units for each apartment which I think would be noisy. The unit I saw had the A/C unit removed for cleaning. Small closets in the units. I didn’t see a lot of staff in the MC area but it was lunchtime.

It went perfectly. [Name Removed] is excellent at her occupation. She is professional but is down to earth and it easy to have a conversation with her.
We were invited for dinner which was a blast with the excellent food, service and entertainment. We both danced with the residents. We enjoyed the residents coming over to our table and introducing themselves.
I play my trumpet in a musical band that performs at assisted living places such as the Points. I will reach out to [Name Removed] to see if she wants to speak with [Name Removed] the band leaderto
have a show at your place.
My mom is still active and healthy so she isnt ready for Providence yet. Maybe if you have a furnished room that she could rent for weeks or a month I could have her in a safe place while I vacation.

Expect a hotel vibe but not much care
Overall my mom chose not to use a lot of the amenities - they apparently mop with dirty water in her room, they clean her clothes with soiled clothes of other residents and they do not answer her call for more than 20 minutes most times. My father had to hire a helper to accommodate her needs because they weren't being met here on a timely basis. She also found medication missing while she was in the hospital. Some things I'm not sure because she can be high maintenance but also she said the food was no good and asks for outside food. There don't seem to be many resources for care like physical therapy or general wellness but again I have not been there since she moved in

Lovely place. Brand new. Little more expensive than others I toured. Smaller apartment than other places. Dorm-size refrigerator. No swimming pool.

Disrespectful and rude CNAs
I don't have enough space in this box to share the horrible, less than mediocre care my mom received from the CNAs. Frequent falls and UTIs are what they stand for. If you have a love one that you care about, AVOID this beautiful place. I felt so sorry for how these CNAs were embarrassing [name removed] with their lack of care for these residents who frequently fall and have UITs. The food was the ONLY thing that was great! Thanks to Chef [name removed].

Less capable Mom, more money, same service.
When extra care was needed after a fall at the facility, there was an upgrade to the charges, and we never so an increase in level of care or service. Top Admin staff are often hard to reach with one or two exceptions. Only got responses when I went in person.
