First, it was a great and convenient location since you can get there off of Fletcher or Fowler as they connect to Morris Bridge. This is a huge plus for visiting residents coming north or south on I-75. The community is spacious and beautifully decorated. The daytime concierge is so friendly and welcoming that she makes you feel immediately at home. The high ceilings and large windows make everything well-lit, as you ease into the living area and bistro. There was fresh fruit and cookies on the island there. The lovely dining room has an all-day dining program with specials that change daily for all three meals plus a mouth-watering regular menu. I saw several residents laughing together at the tables as they were served plates of steaming food. Great therapy on-site and the apartments are spacious. Having both assisted living and a memory care neighborhood that transitions is such a bonus. ","reviewContent":"Promise Pointe is a beautiful community. It is nestled on a preserve with lots of trees and wildlife. They have a walking path, where you can enjoy it all. The building inside is just as breathtaking. There are high ceilings throughout, even in the apartments. There are several screened patios on each floor of the Assisted Living portion. They also have lovely common areas on each floor that include fireplaces and activity areas available to all residents and their families. They have 3 Memory Care neighborhoods including a high functioning, transition neighborhood. There are spacious private studio apartments with large private bathrooms. The staff throughout the building is exceptional. The residents rave about the meals everyday. Chef [name removed] is a master chef and takes pride in every dish that comes out of his kitchen.\nThe residents all appear to be living their best lives. Dad has reported some difficulties communicating with the dining room staff, because many of the servers speak very little English. \n\nOn several occasions, there has been no one at the front desk to admit us (family) when we arrived at the front door of the facility. I feel someone should be there at all times, for a number of reasons. Sometimes residents sitting outside have opened the door for us, but other times they are (understandably) reluctant to do so.\n\nDad's apartment is quiet and has a beautiful view.\n\nIt took a month for me to get my dad's phone number ported. I was told to disconnect his previous service, which took half a day to get done. About a week later, I found out that the number couldn't be ported because it wasn't in service!
