Valiant effort but not a good fit
My mom was very unhappy living in a facility, though I think these folks tried to help her as much as they could. Wish I had understood that she would have had to move to a different facility in order to get step down care, which she needed for a short while at the end of her life.

We also have 20 apartments designated for memory/dementia care. This neighborhood is called Legacy Court. This secured neighborhood is located in a separate wing of our community where we offer activities tailored to promote cognitive, physical and spiritual well being. our families experience, friendly and caring staff, a nice community
5 on all although my mother can't participate in activities. The PP staff are the best! They really take care of mom and love that dad visits daily...they have coffee ready when he comes in. Based on the experience we have had, we would absolutely recommend Presidential Place review!

Has room for improvements
The Memory Care unit is a dump. The outdoors sitting area on the memory care side is never kept up. There are hundreds of cigarettes' butts. During Feb and March the outdoor area is gross. The food is gross. I am not happy at all.

Really good experience
Hi. I move my aunt into presidential place two weeks ago.
The assistant living is about medium size place which I love its Perfect size for her. The staff is fantastic very caring and funny to be around.
The food is first class!
[name removed] and [name removed] noticed that my aunt is a little bit forgetful and little bit off.
They regimented that she should be put into memory care.
That's why I love this place they really care for people there.

So so
After being at this facility for almost two years, I decided to place my mom elsewhere. It would be totally untrue to say that our journey with Presidential Place did not come without any issues. Cleaning was lax and many times meals in the dining room were anything but appealing or appetizing. I found pills on the floor in my mom’s room that were dropped by med techs. One time her bed was wet from urine but the CNA went ahead and made it anyway. I have made beds, cleaned stained toilets, given my mom showers when she was soiled, and numerous other activities. The only thing I wasn’t doing was getting paid the $5378 that I gave yo Presidential Place. CNAs stand around chatting or sitting outside on their phones a lot of the time. The weekends are really bad because they use temporary help who don’t know the routine of the residents. One Sunday I went over in the afternoon to find my mom still in her nightgown, not washed, still sleeping and had nothing to eat. Overall, not pleased!

My mom likes it. The general facility is clean. I like it with the exception of a few things. The staff are nice, but sometimes they don't understand English. The food is not good. It's often too salty. They get her order wrong sometimes. It has gotten better but still needs improvement in some areas. You would think for they price we pay, it would be better. The other thing is the price has gone up, which we're not happy about. People need to take into consideration these are retirees on a fixed income, having to pay for medical appointments and supplies. A Place for Mom was awesome in helping me find Presidential Place. And overall it's decent. They have been nice to my mom. Sometimes things have gone missing from her place. Little maintenance requests can take months to be resolved. I've had to touch up cleaning in her room, so housekeeping could be tightened up in that regard. Certain things could definitely be done better.

A great place for a loved one
Presidential Place is just remarkable, everyone was amazing to my mother while she was here.
The staff are friendly and really get to know all of the residents. My mom had an episode where she was not responding and everyone that knew her was coming into the room and checking on her. They are so attentive to their residents. When she passed, they were so supportive and caring towards our family.
I would highly recommend them to others looking.

helping your loved one live their best life
The director [name removed] is amazing and is running a fantastic community. The administration is very resident and family focused. They made the transition from a rehab facility to here in their assisted living very smooth and easy for our loved one. The staff are extremely friendly and consciousness and nice. They are very aware of our loved one health condition and are very attention to his needs and making him feel apart of the community. We would not hesitate to recommend Presidential Place to other families.

Great Memory Care Unit-Friendly Staff
The food is very good. They have a lot activities. The memory care section, they do a lot for the residents, and take good care of them. They keep thm entertained. The director of memory care is amazing. They keep me well informed and answer any questions. My loved one is very happy. They also, include the memory care residents, in the actvites that is for the assisted living residents.

Disappointed
My family member hates living there. She hates being awakened at 5:30 am to shower and having to go to bed by 9:00pm in order to receive assistance. She dislikes the food and finds the other residents unfriendly. The "free tv" only provides 2 channels and the WIFI is spotty.
The accountant does not submit her bill to her insurance company as promised, so it is proving to be extremely expensive.
The whole experience has been tremendously disappointing.
