I know there is a ratio of workers to residents. I always felt they were short staffed. Having an extra person on hand goes a long way. \n5. I was there almost 24/7. I felt like the aides weren't checking on the residents as often as they should especially the bed ridden residents. \n6. I will say in our situation with my husband's illness they were very accommodating for us. They let me come and go as I pleased and I pretty much took care of him while I was there. At. Night if I wasn't there, they called me when he was having a rough time. \n7. Sometimes the communication wasn't good...with shift change. I never knew what his night was like. My husband had brain cancer so I needed to know daily if anything changed...in my absence. Example...he would have a bruise on his face because he tried to get out of bed and fell. I had to ask how he got the bruise. Or he cried all night. \n8. Aides were over worked and under paid. I guess you get what you pay for.\nOverall, if they work out some of their kinks I think it would be a great place. Administration at other care homes have been slow to reply and so much less involved than [name removed], she and her facility have just made the world of difference in this chapter of my dad’s life . We have a single room which came furnished with a hospital bed, chairs, TV, and small dresser. The facility is insanely clean and decorated beautifully. We have experienced other care homes that are dull and depressing and this place is neither of those. We have loved our experience and have nothing but good things to say. We understand that INTENTIONAL CARE MATTERS. Our community appeals to elders who desire to hold on to some cherished habits and routines, yet need respectful assistance from patient caregivers. We are careful and meticulous with a keen focus on accuracy while providing excellent resident care. <br><br>Our caregivers are compassionate, patient and well experienced with caring for elders with various ailments and/or elder care needs, to include Dementia and physical disabilities. The community offers great visibility of the residents (thereby, increasing and prioritizing SAFETY), it is intimate, non-intimidating, and feels warm and tranquil! Precisive Care is a non-threatening environment - full of empathy and love, designed with elegant details that cater especially to elders. We have Hoyer lifts available if needed to assist with transfers. We welcome residents with PEG feeding tubes, Indwelling Foley and suprapubic catheters, Insulin dependence, and wounds requiring mild care. <br><br>Service Relationships<br><br>We have a relationship with a visiting physician group who you may opt to choose as your Primary Care, so that your medical care needs may be met in house, in real time. The physician groups are geriatric trained, skilled in wound care, medication management, and many other aspects of medical care. In addition, we have visiting optometrists, dentists, podiatrists, hair stylists, barbers, wound care specialists, pharmacists, psychotherapists, hospice services, mobile X-ray services, mobile urgent care services, mobile phlebotomy/ laboratory services, and home health companies.
