The facility offered activity choices that she could pick and choose what suited her. The staff is warm and caring. Always encouraging her to be a part of the community. With Covid hitting early in 2020 things were a struggle for all senior facilities. By 2022 her health was failing and had to give up her apartment. She was placed into an assisted living facility, that she hated. Fortunately, that spurred her on to getting stronger to move back to Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby after 5 months. The staff helped me, again, to find the apartment that best suited her needs and welcomed her back as if she was never gone. Maintenance quickly takes care of any repairs. The entire staff is awesome. Now, at 99 years of age she is strong and loves living independently with new friends and enjoying activities of her choosing.
