Having a relative at Peregrine, I felt confident that she was receiving the best care possible. The staff went above and beyond - from the administration to nurses, aids, dining room... Each person was absolutely incredible. Their personal involvement with all of the residents, and their compassion for each resident was remarkable. Communication from the office and medical team was always gracious, thorough and timely. I am beyond thankful and grateful that my cousin was cared for so well by the exceptional staff at Peregrine.

Great fit
The staff has been very helpful answering all of questions and concerns. Everyone is very friendly and caring. The facility is clean and has lots of activities. The other residents are so nice and welcoming. They are good. My MIL is in a deluxe studio. Very roomy and plenty of space. Bathroom is a bit small, but sufficient for her needs. Nice walk in shower.

My loved one was very pleased with the food. She was there a few months. We picked this community because of the location,and I liked the facility. It has been a very good experience. The people were vey helpful, and they took care of anything that we needed. I would recommend to others.

Best family place for mom
Everyone is friendly and they communicate with family well on all care issues. I like the dining options and food.... chef is the best. They are like a family there. Only thing would be more live music... residents love that.

A good experience for me
If you need something you can always find it. It is very clean, someone is always cleaning and they clean my apartment once a week. All staff members are so wonderful and very friendly to me. They have a lot of activities provided and a lot residents seem to enjoy them. I do not like the food, I think the meals are overcooked so they could improve on that. I do have a dog and 2 cats, so I would tell others that they are very pet friendly. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Move in Process was seamless.
The staff is very good at getting residents engaged. The staff is on a first name basis with the residents and it helps them to feel comfortable. My parents have a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. They like the food. The chef asked them both what their favorite and least favorite foods are to make sure they have food options everyone likes. The outdoor space is good, there could be more. I like that community is all on one level.

This Location Is Fantastic
My sibling is very happy here. The people in the Assisted Living are very nice, the facility is great and everybody on the staff is very residential-oriented. They are very quick when responding to a cord being pull by a resident. They have 2 private chefs, almost culinary chefs. The price was way less than the minimum price being upstate. The facility is great and they treat everyone like family.
The only tip I can give is, Assisted Living facilities will only do what is instructed on the discharge paperwork. Ensure that all doctor orders are written or clearly stated in any discharge or paperwork.

This is a good fit for my mom
Atria Crossgate is nice because it is all one level and everyone is friendly. My mom is doing well in her apt.
The dining area is really nice and my mom says the food is edible, she likes my wife's cooking better.
They do offer a lot of activities, games, they read books to them, and my mother is starting to join in.
There is also transportation for the residents to doctors, shopping and outing to the mall and other outside activities.
I definitely recommend the Atria Crossgate to family and friends.

Wonderful People in This Community
My mother loves it here in this community, but my father is still taking some time to adjust. We do feel comfortable with their move here. They like it here, and my mother is really enjoying her time. The people are wonderful, and we know they are in good hands. This is a nice community, and I would recommend it.

What we liked the most about the Atria Crossgate was that it was all one level. It was a very nice place and everyone was friendly but it was more expensive than other places. Also, it was not in the location we wanted.

Problems at Atria.....
In a month when (1) the residents were quarantined in their rooms, due to a wide-ranging GI bug, and nobody could go out or come in (without a mask); and (2) there was a flying ant infestation in one wing that displaced residents from their rooms so that exterminators could spray, they actually charged me $3 extra on the monthly rent for a "tray fee". (presumably asking to have a meal brought to the room while rushing out to an event or an appointment.)
Rather than giving us a discount for the quarantine days, or the displaced days, Atria decided to charge extra for a very small favor they did! I hadn't wanted to publicize these problems, but just couldn't handle the irony of the increased rent after the inconveniences of the last month.
