Mom's stay
This place is fantastic. The staff is all wonderful! Especially [names removed] My Mother was in the assisted living community for 7 months before she passed. She had Alzheimer's and they all treated her with the best of care. Their communication was impeccable which was very important to me. The facility is pristine and clean through out. The food was very good which I ate with Mom in the dining room on several occasions. Mom had never been a social person, but she began to interact with the other residents and engage in some of the activities. Their activities calendar was busy, but she was never pressured to interact, just guided. I would strongly recommend this facility if it can be fit into your budget.

It's expensive but quality of care and facilities are excellent.
Apartments are a good size, price varies with size. Separate bedroom which is nice. Rooms are basic, such as a hotel room.

They only offer rides to the residence twice a week, so it makes it a little bit challenging. The staff is very accommodating to the residents needs.

We chose this facility because of the cleanliness, talking to other family members, help from administrators to facilitate move in.
Requested paramedics when necessary, helped ensure proper diet before a medical procedure, helped with reminders to keep heart monitor on for 2 weeks.

Perfect fit for Mom
I looked at many places for my Mom this place was not too big and not too small, it’s just right. They offer many activities and special events that my Mom enjoys. The outings are fun for her to go on. The staff is fantastic especially [name removed] she was instrumental in our decision to choose the Palms. We are so happy that we made this decision so is Mom.

I love it here
We have found our new home. After 16 months we have experienced the services of a fine team of caring employees. The facilities are clean and welcoming. The meals have been largely very good. Our apartment is comfortable and pleasant. We are very pleased.

Great Place for Dad Too!
Can’t say enough about the Palms. The clean and beautiful living arrangements make for a warm and comfortable experience for both the residents and guests. But more importantly, what you will notice after spending some time on property; is the warm and caring staff that make all the difference between the Palms and the other senior assisted living facilities. Exploring The Palms as a place for Dad, I found that from the director of sales to the head of nursing, a knowledge and understanding that made for an easy decision out of what could have been an extremely emotional and difficult one! Great place for social people.
I moved to The Palms at Bonaventure about a year ago and I love the ability to be social! They provide all different kinds of opportunities to meet people and have fun. I particularly enjoy the weekly happy hour event and all of the big monthly events. The staff is caring and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is fun!

Beautiful community
I visited this community for my mom. I lived in Arizona, and she lived in Ventura and we were looking for more care for her as she was aging. In the end, Mom ended up moving to Arizona, but the level of warmth, care, and follow-up by the team was phenomenal. They invited us to have lunch, which was good. The community is truly beautiful. I loved the trails out back and the beauty of it being a little outside the city with parks, views, and serenity. I also really loved all of the directors and their level of care. We will move to the Palms if we go back to Ventura!

Lovely facility - a great fit for my dad!
The staff is pleasant and patient with my dad. They keep me updated on anything that may be happening with him. He loves it there!
His room size is a bit small but he seems to have made it work. The amenities are wonderful.
