This facility is warm and has a cozy feel to it as soon as you walk in. It is not one of the larger facilities that are being built now, however, that is what our family likes about it, more intimate. The staff is very open to conversations regarding my mom's care needs which is comforting since her needs have changed over the last 2 years. She has had many falls and knowing that she can push her safety button around her neck and get help has given me peace of mind which I did not have when she lived alone in her home. Fortunately, I can visit quite often at different times of day and it is always clean and personnel are always available if we need anything. Honestly, my mom can get a little grumpy with the staff at times because she is frustrated she can't do what she used to be able to do on her own, but they understand their resident's feelings and don't take it personally which is appreciated.
