Each suite has been designed especially for memory care residents, offering feelings of familiarity and comfort. Along with weekly housekeeping and laundry services, residents are encouraged to decorate their space with their favorite family photos and treasured memories.</p> <p>With help when and how you need it, Oak Ridge welcomes you to the care you deserve.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Oak Ridge is a <em>Type B assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p> <p></p><h3>Assisted Living Facility</h3> <p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p> <p></p><dl><dt>Type A:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.</dd><br> <dt>Type B:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.</dd><br> <dt>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</dt><dd>Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program.
