A year ago decided to move her for the third time and that was to Nichols Senior Care. In the year Mom has been there, I can't say enough positive things about this facility. The owner is very dedicated to the highest standard of care for the residents. My mother is always clean and dressed. Her room is well decorated and also very clean. There are no odors. The staff is always engaged with the residents. I popped in one night and found my mom having the bible read to her because she couldn't sleep. The facility sets in a wooded area so the residents can set outside and watch deer walking around their beautiful gardens. Most importantly my mother loves this place and has told me the staff is really nice to her. This is a three generation family run facility and it is a hidden gem. We provide all the daily living needs for the elderly most uniquely and efficiently.<br>Our facility is required to meet rigid building codes and is inspected yearly by the Department of Mental Health and Hygiene. We maintain records on residents and medications are charted and given by qualified staff. We serve three nutritionally balanced meals daily to all residents and adhere to special diets. We provide laundry services to all residents. Housekeeping and maintenance services are provided to ensure safe, clean, and comfortable living conditions. <br> For a person who needs a safe, secure living environment and assistance in dealing with the problems of aging or other disabling conditions, Nichols Senior Care is not only the most economical place to live. Still, it is often the most reasonable alternative to higher-priced healthcare facilities. <br>Personal physicians are welcome to visit for checkups, or one of the physicians affiliated with Nichols Senior Care can provide care on our premises.
