Sister is happy
The experience has been overall very good and the care is great. My frustration is not necessarily their fault, it is just with the meds. They make you go through their company for medications and they were not on network so it costed a lot more. But the care and the price in terms of monthly rent has been great. The staff are really good and always very friendly. She gets insulin 4 times a day and they are prompt with that. She has made some friends and she likes the other residents. The facility itself seems to be clean and it does not smell when you walk in like some other places.
I would recommend the facility to others looking, my sister really seems to like it here and that is what really matters.

Tour experience
We had a wonderful tour experience with New Perspective Woodbury. It seemed like d a lovely place. The way the rooms were set up I just think my loved one would have had some issues. It was also out of our price range. Other than that it seemed like a great facility.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great experience, the gentlemen who gave the tour was not pushy at all you could tell he was made for this position. However we were not able to see a two bedroom apartment and it was to pricey.

Not many food choice, much like a school lunch program. Fruit fresh vegetable in limted choices. The say they will accommodate special diet but that does not seem to be the case. As far as a "A Place for Mom" it would be nice to have them inform you of the waiver instead of me calling evevryone. Wasted time doing this.

Our tour experience
Our family had an in person tour and it seemed pretty good they did a great job showing us around. However at the time we thought our loved one was fast approaching hospice and at that point they would of moved her into a room with an elderly waiver and the room was like the size of a big closet. Enough for a bed and a bathroom and that was it.

Our experience
Their apartment is very nice. The food is heavy on carbohydrates. I do think that they could improve on the cleanliness of residents rooms. The staff here are very friendly, if there are any changes that need to be done they seem adhere to that.

Our experience with New Perspective Senior Living
During the time our loved one was there, she was not getting the correct and adequate care she was needing. Her health declined fairly quick and that is why we have to move her.

Great Homey Atmosphere for Mom
What I was looking for for my mom was that the community had a homey atmosphere, I definitely got that at New Perspective Senior Living Woodbury. They have someone running activities all afternoon which is important for memory care and helps my mom stay busy. I have eaten there and feel they have a good variety of menu options. I really needed to find a place for my mom quickly near my home and was happy to find New Perspective Woodbury.

New,beautiful,clean high end building; large/many rooms; very nice staff; residents looked comfortable/content; didn't see a lot of groups talking, etc-- people more to themselves; a bit more white collar than blue collar; rooms clean updated-new paint/carpet; bathroom with handicap shower; nice view.

Must return for a second tour this time with the (I'don't want to move) spouse. I found it very appropriate for our needs, but prices included in the description on your listing seemed much higher than the prices given by tour guide.

Small environment and good staff
My Father-in-law is here and everything is going great. We picked this place because it was close to our house and it’s a small environment. They do a lot of activities with him and the other residents like different social events, movies, popcorn socials, and happy hours. The staff is really great. The food is really good (it seems to be a lot of comfort food) and there are different things to choose every day. The facility is kept pretty clean, from what I can see. We had some issues with cleanliness a few weeks ago but they’ve taken care of it after speaking with the management. A lot of the residents are low-functioning, so there isn’t a lot of interaction between them, but the staff is making an effort to get everyone to socialize. I would recommend them.

I thought Red Rock Senior Living was very nice when I toured. Everyone there was very friendly and the tour guide was knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and the facility was very clean. I had a good experience touring.,
