They call this 'Age in place.' The hope is that she will be able to call this home for the rest of her life. They will arrange outside services if needed. Move-in was as easy as it could be. They provided carts to assist with carrying things in and hung the tv and pictures on the wall for us. The laundry is done every week and hung up nicely in the closet. The food is varied, and our loved one says it is really good. The housekeeping people clean once a week and do a very nice job. But most of all, our loved one is happy! Never thought that would happen! You can sign up to receive emails telling what activities they are attending. They are completely remodeling with all new flooring, paint, furniture, etc. It looked good before, but will be even better when finished. He enjoys having the apartment to himself and the privacy that offers especially the restroom. The mini kitchen is a plus as he can buy and store special snacks and drinks. It was a blessing that the apartment came furnished. We were able to put special touches just for him, like curtains, chair coverings, and of course pictures.
