My husband is somewhat shy and she will go find him if she thinks he would enjoy a certain activity and bring him downstairs to the activities room. He always loves being there once he is with everyone. They also have entertainment come to Monarch house and sometimes take residents out to plays. My husband very much enjoys the children who are in school there on the second floor. They get together for music and for the residents to read stories to the kids. The integrative approach is amazing! They can also watch the kids play on the playground behind the building from big windows. \nThe rooms are all studios but of varying sizes and prices. I have visited many other assisted living facilities that are similar prices and costing even much more. Monarch House has more staff than required by state rules, It is clean, bright, cheerful, caring and provides excellent care. They have a doctor who comes there and can care for your loved one if you desire. Plus there are no hidden extra care skill level costs. That is an excellent value and very comforting for me. I believe the owner and the very skilled manager are providing the best in quality care and services at prices that are very reasonable for assisted living anywhere I have found.
