Oh My God Amazing!
This is a very homey style community. The Executive Director knows what she is doing. The staff truly care and they offer exceptional care for the residents. The staff are good at communicating with the family. Also, the Executive Director is good at making referrals for additional services provided by Medicare and following up on requests by the family.
There are three meals a day offered to the residents.
Benton House truly understands the difficulties of families and their aging loved one. During the tour, there was an industry staff member that goes into several different communities, and they even thought this was the best community around.

My Tour Experience at Benton House of Newnan Lakes
It was fine. Nice but I had already fallen in love with Monarch House. I really love the way Monarch house includes those with dementia if no behavior issues, in with everyone and do not have a separate section for them. I had a very bad experience with my Dad in another state in a very nice but separate dementia wing. I believe like with inclusion for special needs children, adults need to be around more stimulating conversation, music, and joyful activities, even if they can only sit and listen. Sitting with a group of others just like you who do not talk and are just staring at a TV or a doll or whatever on a table in front of them does not help those with dementia. My Dad just got worse and stopped eating. Monarch House is very inclusive and does not separate those who have worsening dementia. There is no separate wing for them yet they care for them in all their needs, talking to them, keeping them together with everyone else. I love that approach as my husband has dementia and that is the kind of care I desire for him when I cannot be there with him.

Great community, very polite and caring. The staff of Benton house is very friendly and caring. They place personal attention to each resident's needs and wants. Benton house has lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Meals need variety and fresher ingredient items. But I am very happy my loved one is in an environment that I trust.

Good Place
Everything is pretty good. You do get nickeled and dimed quite a bit for medical costs - doctors, prescriptions, etc. - hidden costs you don't really know about until you start getting the bills. Also the food is kind of boring. But I like the facility. It's clean. Things are generally good aside from the unexpected surprises with the medical care.

A Wonderful Place to Consider
My mom loves it, and she doesn't want to go anywhere else, which speaks volumes. She loves the people and her living space. I think it's great as well. I get great communication from the staff. And they do what they can to keep her happy and healthy.

Fantastic Place to Get Good Healthcare
This would be a good place to put a loved one. The staff are friendly here. My loved one loved the food here. The temperature of the community was good for my loved one as well.
The housekeeping was good, clean, and no odor of the community.
Bingo, coloring, watching movies, jazzercise, arts and crafts, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents.

My tour at Benton House of Newnan Lakes was really good. In fact, I still keep in contact with the director. They were super friendly and gave lots of info. It's a nice facility. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them.

Good with pricing
We chose Benton House of Newnan Lakes because when my grandma toured here she liked it and didn't want to look at any others. I would want others to know when looking into the facility that to me they give good care, but it is not excellent for what they are charging. There has been a lot of miscommunication since COVID as well. Overall, I would still recommend as long as you don't mind the price tag.

Benton House was a very nice facility with spacious accommodations and all the support facilities I expected to find. The drawback was the requirement than hospice care could not be continued to the end of life at this facility. They required the patient be moved to a nursing home if they become unable to ambulate on their own. That provision defeats the whole purpose in spending the extra money to provide a high quality of life for the terminally ill patient to the end of life.

Great Day Care
We've used Benton House for day care opportunities for our Dad, who has dementia. It is a lovely, safe place for him on days that we are unable to care for him. He enjoys his visits and sometimes doesn't want to leave when we arrive to take him home.

Just to far!

Everything Is Working Out Pretty Well
So far it has been a good experience for my father. His health has been up and down, but I know he is in good hands here. They have very good staff here, they have been very helpful and responsive. I like the fact there are many activities available for the residents to choose from. The meals are decent, and they have a nice variety of choices to choose from. I know he is safe and being cared for well here. I would recommend this community, it has worked out great for us.

Mom's Respite Stay
Benton House is an awesome home away from home! Our Mom was there for a week to visit while we had some time with our Grandchildren. Mom was nervous about the change to her routine but the Team at Benton House made her welcome and helped her to fit in to the "family".
The whole management staff made the transition much easier than we had even hoped and when Mom is ready for a permanent move Benton House would be our FIRST CHOICE!!!

My Great Aunt was using services from this agency for just a short time. I did like how they did care for my great-aunt but she was just not ready to stay in a community with other residents. I look forward to the help from A Place For Mom.
