Mangrove Is a great place, friendly people and nice location for independent living.
Having lived many years jupiter it was nice to remain local. The balconies overlooking the gardens and intracoastal are pleasant. The people are friendly. Lots of activities to choose from. Happy hours daily, live music... onsite services for pt, hair,nails.... availability to transportation local.the size of the community is great to meet real friends but small enough to not feel like a number. Restaurant onsite is friendly but wish had more variety and sometimes quality. Overall I would recommend.

Terrible
My mother in law recently passed after spending 5 years at this facility. They provided virtually zero care and are only concerned about monthly fees. All glitz and no care behind the scenes. STAY AWAY

My tour review
This community was nice and was in the line for one I really wanted for my loved one. However, my loved one went with another community that she felt worked better. From the expenses to what all was offered even down to the decor there was just another community that stuck out more.

They place was clean when I did see it and he staff was very friendly. They do seem to really care about the residents. They do take the residents off-community for activities and since my mother was in memory care, they would have people come in to their area of the community and engage them. I did feel like the Mangrove Bay was worth the price. The grounds are beautiful and it feels like you're on a cruise.

I have been a resident here at Mangrove Bay for 5 1/2 years. The Staff here is great. The Director here has good people, and management skills. Maintenance is quick to resolve any issues. The food is good with a lot of choices. I have been happy living here and would recommend Mangrove Bay to anyone.

I have been a resident at Mangrove Bay for 4 years. I like the happy hour every afternoon. The staff is very nice and helpful. Transportation is provided for us and have made special stops for me when needed. Mangrove Bay is pet friendly and people always stops to pet my dog.
We have a wonderful dining room, but some times I feel choices are limited. We do have a deli for lunch that does have great tasting food.

Bright and cheery and the studio (smallest one) still had a lot of space. Not a good fit for our mom because as an assisted living tenant she did not have use of pool and other facilities on site.

My mother first moved into Mangrove Bay/Independent Living when she was 91. After her eye site deteriorated we felt it was time to move to Assisted Living. After living on the assisted size for 2 years we felt mom needed 24 care and much more personalized attention. Along with the guidance of the director, [name removed], we decided to move my mom to the Memory Care Floor. Fast forward...my mom just had her 96th birthday. The staff are extremely loving and devoted to all their residents. I see it because I am there almost every day. The supervisor [name removed] is always available to speak to me if I have any questions or concerns. She has given me her personal cell number and told me to contact her at any time. [Name removed], the activities director is a very special person. She has got my mother engaged and active when I thought we were at the end. Even though my mother is mostly blind and has difficulty hearing, [Name removed] manages to get my mother engaged and participating in her daily program. The aids and nurses are a very special group of caring individuals that are always pleasant and reassuring to my mom. I can't rave enough about the aids because they are angels doing a job that is not always very glamorous. I feel we made the right choice for my mom almost 5 years ago. The staff has helped us move through different levels of care as her needs have changed. She is still healthy and just enjoyed another birthday with a homemade cake by one of the other residents, balloons, a corsage from Alma and all of the staff and residents singing and making a fuss over my mom. I appreciate all the staff at Mangrove Bay, including the people at the front desk like Susan and all the others, the drivers and the maintenance men. This may sound unreal but when I visit my mom almost daily, these people are like shining stars to me. They have become my friends with the huge responsibility of taking care of my mother.

Outstanding facility
After looking at several facilities in the Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter area, my Mom and I decided Mangrove Bay was the best option to meet her needs. My Mom spent her last 3 1/2 years at Mangrove Bay, and they were some of her best years. The entire staff was wonderful, and the facility is spotless. My Mom was always fussy about cleanliness and as a result, would often not eat in restaurants. Well, the staff had taken her into the kitchen, and as she put it, it was clean and organized. From the first time we met with [name removed], and then several other staff...[six names removed] (and I know I forgot to list so many others), Mom and my family were comfortable and knew she was in excellent hands. Although my Mom was in Independent Living, the staff look after her and if there were any questions in regard to her health, etc. they would immediately call. I highly recommend this facility and could not be more pleased with everyone involved!

Mangrove Bay excellent for memory care
My mom lived in memory care at Mangrove Bay for 15 months. She received excellent care and respect from all levels - nursing, floor staff, activities (great activities director), food and executives.
When visiting mom we impressed by the cleanliness of the area, that it was appropriately staffed and there were always daily activities (important for older people to keep moving) in progress for residents.
The interaction between the Mangrove staff and hospice was excellent.
We would choose Mangrove again without question.

A happy life at Mangrove Bay
Our family member, Rosalie has been at Mangrove Bay for nearly 6 years with 2 years in one of the Villas. She recently transferred from Independent to Assistant Living. There was no question that she wouldn’t remain at Mangrove Bay as she has always felt safe and at home and truly happy here.
Her transition to Assistant Living went very smoothly because of the expertise of the staff, namely, Carol - Mktg Dir, [Removed] - AL Dir, [Removed] - Resident Coordinator and [Removed] - AL. They are all a true asset to Mangrove Bay.
[Removed] chose to remain in FL and being remote we have the challenge of remote caregiving. After numerous visits we were confident that she was in the right place. Mangrove Bay is a lovely, well run, family-oriented community where residents have become friends and then family.
Since the very first move from the Villa to Independent Living [Removed] has been instrumental and such a pleasure to work with. She excels as being the Resident Coordinator. [Removed] is enthusiastic, always smiling and ready to help. No problem is daunting, she finds solutions easily and follows through.
The staff, as well as the residents are compassionate, caring and friendly. From the wonderful Independent Living Recreation Director, [Removed] who holds many fun activities for residents to amazing Beverly who offers fun exercise programs to keep everyone moving. Last but not least, the happy atmosphere in the lounge is created by the always cheerful [Removed] who not only serves drinks in Mangrove’s Lounge but also gives friendly individual attention to each resident.

I have been a volunteer at Mangrove for over 2 years. This is a very beautiful place for people to call home. They have many activities for everyone. The staff goes above and beyond and they love to interact with the residents and their families.
