Dad’s studio apartment
Lorien Elkridge is Dad’s new home for the last few months. The transition was made as easy as possible, the nurses and staff helping Dad adjust to his new routine. There has recently been a change in head director and events planning coordinator and we are excited to see the new things to come. There have been a few things that keep me from giving a five star, but I’m confident the issues are being addressed under the new leadership, i.e. nighttime aides not responding quickly enough when dad pushed his button. Also, the food is “fine but not delicious” and serving portions are small. Overall, we are pleased in knowing dad is happy and safe.

The community boasts gorgeous, modern decor with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and has 24 hour nursing onsite, as well as a skilled nursing facility on property.
Our community invites residents to enjoy a carefree lifestyle, while getting the help they need with activities of daily living, and honors the independence they deserve, all in the privacy of their well appointed apartment.
Our beautiful and spacious apartments are offered in a variety of styles and layouts,offering kitchenettes and overhead lighting, premium luxury vinyl flooring, as well as lovely patios and courtyard views, some are overlooking our Bocce Ball court and greens.
Residents and families at Lorien Elkridge enjoy daily scheduled activities,delicious chef prepared meals and have hours of fun in our arcade, movie theater, aquarium, pub and a new pet spa to keep everyone's favorite furry friends clean and happy!

Mom's new home
I'd say all 5s so far. Staff very understanding with resident's adjustments to new surroundings. Value for cost particularly excellent from other options I have seen. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend the Lorien Elkridge community to other families.
