Scrupulous Contract Wording
First, I will say the care my Grandmother received was top notch. The staff was outstanding and she was happy until the day she passed. The reason for 1 star: IF you plan on signing a contract with the owner [name removed], ENSURE you READ and UNDERSTAND the SECURITY DEPOSIT section. If your loved one dies and you have NOT given 30 days notice.. YES you need to give 30 days notice before DEMISE, you forfeit the $5000 security deposit to pay for the FOLLOWING MONTH that your family member will not be there since they passed. In my example, my Grandmother passed on March 13th, I had paid through March already. There is no pro-rated refund for March and since I didn't give 30 days notice of her DEMISE, I lost my $5000 security deposit to cover for APRIL. I feel this was an underhanded tactic to keep the $5000 security deposit. Security Deposits are meant to be for damages and/or defaulted payments.

Excellent home cooking!!
My mother is currently living in this community and so far I am very pleased with how things are going. The staff have been amazing and I am comfortable with the quality of care she has been receiving. I wish I could attend dinner every night there it is that good. They serve lots of home cooked meals that are tasty and well portioned. They also do a great job with keeping the property clean for all of the residents. Overall it has been a great fit and we are very happy with this place.

Very nice remodel of home to accommodate 6 people with private bathrooms (two units share one). Clean, beautiful backyard with seating overlooking a pool which is secured and a sweet house dog. In a nice neighborhood.

Home Sweet Home
I am so glad and relieved we have found a place for dad. He is 91 and could no longer live at home and care for himself. He is getting the very best care at Lake Country AL. The minute I walked through the door I knew this would be the perfect transition for him. The facility is very clean and does not smell bad! Dad is bathed daily, has three meals and snacks and they are very attentive to make sure he is drinking plenty of fluids. He is getting proper skin care too! They have him on a two hour incontinence program to retrain himself to use the restroom. Physical therapy visits weekly. Management keeps families informed of any issues going on with loved ones. The caregivers treat my dad as if he was their own dad, they are very loving people. Families can visit any time and are encouraged to stay for dinner. This is a wonderful place!

Beautiful home, caring people
While my mother has only lived at Lake Counntry Assisted Living for a little over a week I love the home and the people who run it. It is a beautiful ranch style home in a great neighborhood. Well maintained indoors and out. Private rooms and most have private baths. Unlike the hustle and bustle of your typical assisted living facility, with only four residence (6 max) it is quiet and peaceful here. They have a daily schedule for meals and hygiene, etc. but they care enough to let there residence sleep in if that is what they prefer (and my mother does). We are still getting mom through the transition period and it has not always been easy but Jim and his staff have been very attentive and understanding. I'm a little disappointed that they do not yet have the ability to go on outings but I am told in the future they will. They are in the process of looking for a licensed cosmetologist for in house salon services. It's early in the game but I think we will be very happy here.

A beautiful home on a golf course wit...
A beautiful home on a golf course with a pool is hard to beat. The staff and owners of the facility have gone beyond my expectations with the care and attention they have given my mom. They make sure she gets all her medications as needed and prepare food that suits her diet. I feel very fortunate that we were able to find such a wonderful assisted living home!

Overall a good experience. Jim was certainly helpful and was very kind to Mom. The employees did change during her stay but remained committed and helpful. The house is clean, comfortable and safe. the food was well-prepared and plentiful. Her last months were as pleasant as possible.

Honest review
Beautiful facility, residents well cared for Male owner, rude, not much of a people person. does not treat staff well has a huge turn over in staffing no guarantee that your loved one will have the same provider ever week. Long as you don't mind different staff your fine. Does not have enough activities for residents.

Best Care, Most beautiful assisted living home in Ft Worth!
My mother stays here and I couldn't be happier with everything! It is so nice to know that she is taken care of the way I would take care of her if I only had the time. They are a small assisted living home with only 6 residents. It's a beautiful home in Lake Country with the absolute best staff. Her room is nicer than mine and her bathroom is bigger than mine!! I couldn't be more at peace with my decision to place my mom here, where she could get the full time attention she deserves. 5 stars Lake Country! And thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
