There are some units being remodeled, but most are like stepping back into the 70s. I was not pleased with the state of my dads unit. He did have to make a last minute change, but the unit he moved into was what I have been describing as gross. Also, my dad did not receive his call pendant until three days after he moved in. He did fall within those three days while getting out of the shower and the grab bar came out of the wall when he grabbed it. They fixed it quickly, but it just solidified the fact that all the units need to be updated before someone gets seriously injured. Residents of Inglenook and their visiting loved ones tend to enjoy visits to Berry Patch Farm, Barr Lake State Park, or even Riverdale Golf Course. Our charming town offers a joyful array of activities within a relaxing environment.</p> <h3>Community Amenities</h3> <p>Inglenook provides a host of amenities and services to complement the lives of residents. We offer three, delicious heart-healthy meals in our beautiful dining areas. There is always socializing, gaming, or events throughout our common areas and exercising opportunities in our fitness room. Our full-time activities director creates exciting schedules of events, both on-campus and off-campus, that promote social and physical wellness.</p> <p>We maintain a variety of assisted living services, and our 24-hour healthcare staff are licensed to assist residents with their personal and health care service needs. We help to ensure that the evolving needs of residents are met, with quarterly visits from specialists, dentists, and optometrists.</p> <h3>Living Options</h3> <p>We currently offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. All of our units are beautifully designed and equipped with emergency call systems, and our staff provide housekeeping and laundry services regularly.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>Inglenook at Brighton is an <em>assisted living residence</em>, which in the state of Colorado is a residential facility which provides personal services, protective oversight, social care due to impaired capacity to live independently, and 24 hour supervision (but not to the extent that regular 24-hour medical nursing care is required).
