I know my dad is in good hands with her. My dad is being very well taken care of by the caregivers. When my dad transferred from the assisted living facility to the board and care facility, the caregiver at the new place was disheartened by the condition of my dad's skin. He said, \"Don't worry, I will take care of him.\" My dad's skin is so soft and I hadn't realized how bad it was until I saw how good it is now. The caregiver basically gives my dad pedicures, massages him, shaves him, feeds him, and just overall takes such good care of my dad!\n\nMy dad is bedridden now, and Infinity Care really understands \"bed care.\" They have made sure my dad doesn't have any bed sores, and they constantly move around (I don't know what they are called...bolsters?) the pillows to make sure points of contact are elevated and moved when necessary. I don't know anything about bed care, so I'm glad they do.\n\nAlso,[Name Removed]is 100% in it for the residents! She is \"by the book,\" and doesn't do anything that is against patient rights. For example, when my dad broke his hip the first time, I wanted him to have bed rails because I was afraid he was going to fall out of bed. I didn't even know there was a law (protecting patients/residents) against having bed rails unless it is prescribed from a doctor because it can be seen as \"confinement.\" She helped me find the correct and legal channels to get things done.\n\n[Name Removed] also helped \"represent\" my dad and I when the home hospice care team came. She voluntarily sat in on the meeting I had with them, and asked all the questions I didn't even know to ask. Her sincere care for her residents was most evident in that meeting. I am grateful for her.\n\nAdditionally, the home itself is beautiful inside. It was renovated to specifically be a board and care facility. Special care was set forth in its design. It has spacious walkways to allow for easy wheelchair accessibility, and I believe every bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a comfortable seating area/ family room in the front for guests to have a private place to visit, if they want. The house is a home, and has a very comfortable and quaint feel to it. When I was doing my search, I kept envisioning my dad there. Her facility became the standard for which I had compared all the previous places. In fact, I knew this place was \"the one\" so much, that I waited several months for a room to become available.\n\nI would highly recommend Infinity Home Care! Anyone looking for a place for their mom or dad could rest easy if their parent was at Infinity Home Care. Infinity works closely with home health providers for residents, working with their families and insurance, complete with visiting nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and a mobile dental hygienist. Other visiting services include a hairdresser/barber and manicurist.<br><br>All rooms come equipped with a private bathroom, and offers secure living features. Residents have access to a lovely backyard and patio for to enjoy and take part in outdoors activities, weather permitting. Summer bbqs are popular with the residents. An activities director comes into the home and works closely with each resident's capabilities to ensure that every resident can take part in activities.
