Five year review
The apartments are MUCH nicer than others in this area. The balcony's are long and have great views. Most of my neighbors are super nice. The only problems I encountered were leaking from upstairs plumbing...maybe once a year and sometimes dogs were not very nice.

Apartment leaking.
Last night our apartment was leaking above our bed and water running down the walls in the bathroom. Call emergency maintenance would not come out. In the morning a neighbor who lives below us came and said that Hers was leaking too. I do like living here, not sure how safe it is anymore. This building is getting old. And don't know how sound it really is. Just want people to be aware of this. And the rent is supposed to go up 140 dollars this year. They have been kind enough to let us have an ESA dog. My husbands. I think they are trying This building is owned by Landlord out of state.I am hoping this community gets better because the tenants deserve so much more than how they are being treated.

Frequently Asked Questions
about Independence Place I and II

A Place for Mom has scored Independence Place I and II 7.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
