Amazing staff, but not enough of them for the amount of patients.
They are very short handed, cannot keep an eye on all of the patients. My mother has fallen numerous times, once sending her to the ER.
The staff that are there are amazing! Always smiling and loving.

Hudson Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center, a Sinceri Senior Living community, is a quiet, one-story community featuring a large courtyard, a living room complete with a fireplace, and an array of care options and amenities for residents seeking memory care services. The community is situated around the corner from St. Joseph Regional Health Center and just down the road from several local parks. Hudson Creek works hard to provide purposeful programming for residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. A Loving Community
Hudson Creek is such a special place. They sincerely care about their residents and the family members.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They genuinely love the residents and do what they can to make sure that they live an active life in the facility.
There are lots of activities that keep the residents out of their rooms and engaged with each other.
The nurses are on top of getting care for the residents whether it is emergency or basic wound care.
The directors are always available to talk to about the residents and what is needed.
I would place any of my loved ones at Hudson Creek!!

Not checking every few hours
Bad things happen when room checks aren’t done every two hours. Pts need to be evaluated for post surgical problems that may arise. Nursing homes should be more vigilant when taking care of the elderly even if it requires extra time.

I would recommend it overall. It was about as positive as it could be.
I thought the activities were great and the approach to letting them live in their reality when possible was good. The app for seeing what activities he did was nice too. There would be pictures sometimes.

A good place for a "mean" mom
Hudson Creek is very welcoming and they're able to manage extremely difficult behaviors. They have good communication, which is normally done through phone call; but they also have an app where they upload weekly pictures of your loved one engaged in activities. Some of their activities include gardening, snow cones, and the Red Hat Society (red hat, purple dress club). It's easy to go on the app and see what's going on, but if there's ever an issue they do give us a call. My mother-in-law is currently in the hospital with several infections and illnesses, but they called to get our permission before taking her to the hospital.
They could do a better job at helping the residents keep track of their belongings, as they've lost articles of clothing. Aside from that, the community is locked and secure, and I would recommend Hudson Creek to others.

I would tell others to be sure Hudson Creek is going be the best place for you, in regards to memory care. Be sure to do your research, visit and make sure it's best fit for your loved one.
The staff to resident ration was okay. Communication between the community and our family was good. They provided weekly updates and phone calls.

A stellar community
They are phenomenal. When we went to tour, they blew us out of the water. They were so knowledgeable and they knew all of their residents. I have had a lot of dealings with the nursing staff and they have been so extremely helpful. Anytime anything has happened, they always call right away so they are very good with communication. We get an activities calendar and I also get a daily report on what my mother in law does, she is always busy doing something and they are not just your average activities. It has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them to others looking.

Highly recommend
We chose Hudson Creek because they are strictly memory care facility and the others I looked at were not as clean as this facility was. It is very home like environment. They do offer shared and private rooms, she is in a shared room and it is pretty big and plenty of space for what she needs. They are always accommodating, they answer my phone calls, texts, emails, so just great with communication. I would recommend to others looking.

Hudson Creek Review
Hudson Creek was horrible. My mother fell, and we weren't even notified. Then a week later she tested positive for covid, and Hudson Creek basically tried to dump her into another facility that had multiple state violations. We were told there would be activities done with my mother, and provided materials for these activities. When I picked up my mother's belongings these materials were with her belongings unused. There were some staff members that were very caring, but the ones in top leadership were only concerned with money not the patients.

A nice communiy
It is the only memory care in my town, so it's the only one to recommend here. I chose this community because they said they could handle everything that would come up behaviorally, but they couldn't. They were understaffed. Once the administration changed, things improved and they seem to be able to provide better care for her, except for when they needed to send her to a behaviorally health hospital. The caregivers are all really nice and keep us informed about everything. The food is good and they invite the families for special occasions and holidays.

Not what you would expect
My mom there 10 weeks and she has 12 falls and most were ER visits. If she didn't eat at the meal time, she didn't get a meal. My mom had dry blood in her mouth, cradle cap, lost a lot a weight, and busted lip. I would not recommend this place. My mom was always dirty, grease in hair, stained clothes, her depends had an odor. I had to move her out.

Very nice and friendly staff. They have a beautiful courtyard for their residents and there were lots of residents participating in activities. We liked how they have separate dining and a separate activity room for people that are at a high level of care.

Beautiful Facility
We visit our friend in Hudson Creek almost weekly. He is always occupied with some sort of activity, surrounded by other residents and staff. The rooms are maintained beautifully, just like the common areas.
The facility is attractive and clean. It always smells fresh and inviting.

Facility is lovely and Office Manager was very gracious and informative. 66 bed facility has South and north sections to differentiate levels of care needed. Staff longevity is a good indicator of stability at this facility that’s been in operation since 2006.

Finding a safe place in an emergency situation
I was at a very low point in my life having to consider a place to put my husband of 35 years due to his dimentia. It had become impossible for me to care for him any longer at home because he was becoming a threat to my safety, not to mention my sanity.
In the emergency room after I had to call the Sheriff because of violet behavior, it became apparent that I was going to have to come up with a long-term solution to the situation. The hospital emergency room doctor wanted to release him and told me to take him home. I said no, not until I find some place for him as I cannot take him back home. He was less than helpful.
Getting on my phone, I started searching for Senior Care facilities in the immediate area. I came across A Place for Mom. They called me and got some information and in a few minutes, I got a call from Hudson Creek Alzheimers Senior Care Center. They told me about the place and wanted to know if I could come by and see the facilities. I said no but they could come by the Emergency Room at the hospital. They did!!!! We talked and I ended up putting him in the facility.
I have found the staff to be very accomodating and caring. So far I have to say that I am happy with the decision. I would recommend the facility to anyone wanting or needing to find a place for a loved one.
