There have been multiple caregivers that have been over to take care of my loved one and this was a little concerning at the beginning. It has been a good experience for us. They were able to help the family care for our loved one, and provide companionship for them.

Deplorable Caregiving for Dementia Patients
Our loved one had a terrible experience with this company. The caregivers are not trained in dementia with one of them telling her that her late husband was waiting in the kitchen so the caregiver could lure her in to drink tea. There was a revolving door of caregivers many who did not have a good command of the English language - verbally or written. Many caregivers did not engage with our loved one and spent the majority of time on their personal phones even as our loved one tried to have a conversation with them. We had caregivers lie, break household items with out telling family and engage in unethical behavior. Two caregivers got together with one family member to try and ban another family member out of greed. Management was deplorable. They rarely stopped by to check and when they were made aware of issues they turned the other way. Please do not recommend this company to anyone they are disgusting.

Disappointed...hoping forimprovements
I've had some good caregivers but it's been very hard working with the company at times The services they offer online don't match up. You have to go through a lot of caregivers before you can find a match and once you do you might not get to keep them because they might take them off your service.

Homewatch Caregivers is a pretty good fit, but it takes them a while to get adjusted and trained by me. I had to go through about 4 caregivers to find the person we really connected with. I feel comfortable with that person coming into our home. If they're out sick, Homewatch makes sure there's a substitute in their place. I'm currently using their service 5 days a week and there is a minimum of 4 hours per day. I would recommend this agency to others.

Not happy with the company
I hired this company to help with the care of my mother, who is having memory issues and needs standby help. Needless to say, after 4 months and many caregivers later, we switched companies due to lack of consistency and incompetence of the caregivers. It was so stressful and exhausting having to explain over and over the ins and outs of mom’s care and the duties of the house. They had difficulty retaining information, perhaps they just didn’t care. There was the usual, falling asleep, eating our food, overstepping their role, staring at their phones.

Pleasant staff
We used Synergy Homecare for my husband, and the staff was really quite pleasant. We originally had caregiving scheduled for three days a week for four hours a day, but when the caregiver took my husband out, they would be alright for a couple of hours, but then he would want to come home. We decided to stop using it because we were paying a lot of money for only half the time. It was good while we did use it though, so I would recommend it.

In Home care and comfort.
We have been very happy with this service. They have been able to get someone to come to our home and help with some responsibilities for mom. We like the care taker that arrives on time. We have been able to have some one who will take care of her medications and some personal care. We would recommend this service to other families for the good reliable care that they will receive.

A great service
My brother is very pleased with the service this agency provides. The caregiver is on time and helps with light housekeeping, taking him to appointments and the grocery store. They also help with carrying his oxygen tank and help keep him moving. The owner came out to the house, explained everything up front and helped to make sure the caregiver was the right one to fit his needs.

Took A Lot Of Stress Off Of Me
Finding this home care agency has really taken a lot of stress off of me. My uncle has adjusted very well to the caregiver coming and helping him out and comments that he really likes her. He was resistant at the beginning so this is great to hear. I had some concerns with the housekeeping, but the agency was very responsive to addressing my concerns, and the problem was fixed. They follow my directions for caring for him very well. I would just say it is important that you are involved in the process so they know how to best care for your loved one. I would recommend this home care.

I thought the providers were average-if your organization can implement Lisa's care-giving philosophy as a baseline standard you will really have something. The standard of care that she presented is the reason I added an extra half star. Felt the quality of care was alright but providers lacked initiative.

We’ve happy so far.
It’s impeccable. We want the most important things taken care of and they are. They can take my mom out for walks in the park across the street. It’s important to make sure she takes her med on time and they are able to help with that. The one time they needed to reschedule, we booked with another lady and it worked out fine. We’ve happy so far.
