A nice community
[name removed] passed away a year ago but our experience at Valencia Commons was good while she was there. Based on the experience we had we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

You need to be a good advocate for your loved one, the manager can be a bit difficult at times and makes excuses for the lack of follow up on concerns and requests

Excellent Facility
Overall I am very pleased with Holiday Valencia Commons. The staff are caring and helpful to my mother. Her onsite caregiver side is fantastic ([facility removed]). The food is top quality. Mom is in a newly-renovated room so the carpet and paint are nice. Maintenance is quick to respond if there is a problem although parts orders seem backed up with the suppliers. Spectrum tv reception is excellent and there is a hair salon on site.

There is no place like home and Valencia commons.
I checked out seven places that took care of seniors. I only found one that I really really liked and that was Valencia Commons in Rancho Cucamonga. I know we’re not supposed to say names but [name removed] were very accommodating and friendly. In fact, the entire staff felt like family was with a smile on her face and that meant a lot to my dad. They would always pass by and say hello [name removed] how you doing And my dad always felt special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for family.

. our family's experience has been very positive and we're very happy with Valencia Commons
They do not participate in the activities.
They do complain about it being costly but I do remind them that utilities and meals are included.
Handy man work needed has been a lengthy waiting process.
They're comfortable and it has been fulfilling their needs. Overall experience has been great.
The trolley transportation services have been more limited to what they expected.

They were extremely helpful in getting the help I needed for my husband. The food was delicious and the building was very clean. My husband wasn't there long enough for me to comment on many things personally, but they did have a lot of activities planned for the residents.

A great opportunity for reluctant shoppers
Our loved one never moved in. We went to lunch 3 times and the food was not that good. Usually clean every time I went in. [name removed] and [name removed] were great. They were very helpful in every way imaginable. Quality of care - not experienced . The three lunches mom and I went to the food and service were not good. A few times the servers brought the wrong meals to my mom and the other residents. Baked chicken was over breaded. Fish was good but very small portions. Desserts were good. Mom was very disappointed that diet coke was not on the beverage menu. Our loved one took part in a live music activity with an ice cream social. It seems as though she was ok with it but then became uncomfortable, and then we left The value for cost is excellent, but for mom income it was over budget. Best price in comparison to other communities in the area.

My loved one is currently a resident at Holiday Valencia Commons. Overall, everything has been great for her at this facility. She's not crazy about the breakfast, but she is very picky. The housekeeping overall is good. However, the facility is a little pricey. I would 100% recommend this facility to family and friends.

A Wonderful Place for Seniors
My loved one is a current resident at Holiday Valencia Commons and things have been great. The staff is friendly and caring. Any issues are taken care of immediately. The food is good, with 3-4 options for every meal. I would recommend this facility to others.

Valencia Commons was wonderful. They bent over backwards for me. The Care staff was very helpful. Everyone there was very supportive. Unfortunately my loved one only had three days there before they passed. My loved one was really looking forward to being there because they saw their self getting better here. My loved one called it their bachelor pad. I want to thank the staff at Valencia Commons for making my loved one comfortable and happy.
Although my loved one was not there long enough to rate the activities the bulletin looked like it would be fun.

Positive experience
We chose Valencia Commons because of the value for the money, it is a little less than an assisted living facility.
The apartment sizes are great. They have all different sizes, but his is spacious and fits his needs.
I would recommend this community for someone who is independent. They have home health care and residents have life alert, but if you have more health care needs, it might not be the best fit.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is done regular, and well done. Nice to have the bedding changed each week, and everything cleaned. I like having my food prepared for me. I would like less pasta dishes, but the food is good most of the time. The dining room is getting back to normal after Covid 19. The bus service is good! And much needed. My apt is comfortable. Would love to have a small swimming pool!!

The facility is lovely, it looked very clean and polished. We did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling though. The staff were not approachable and did not seem excited to help and the residents we encountered were not the friendliest. Just not the place for us.

I've been here a little over a year. I find a warm and helpful and happy staff. Food has improved greatly. There are many activities, outings - library, activity room, exercise equipment, a chapel, and a beauty salon. I'm very happy here and enjoy it ALL!!
