My Mom’s Transition to increase care
Toured a couple of Assisted Living facilities with my Mom this past [date removed]. Although every Assisted Living facility we visited was fantastic my Mom found an immediate connection with several residents at Montara. The easygoing pace of the facility, the staff friendliness and the food pretty much sealed the search. My Mom found new friends and a clean and well staff facility. The General Manager, [name removed], made my Mom and my siblings comfortable knowing she is being taken care of.

We arrived at 10am for our tour and they did not have anyone to show us around. They had our tour incorrectly scheduled a half hour later and asked us to wait. The person that was supposed to show us around still wasn't there at 10:30. They called her again at 10:40 and told us she lived 3 minutes away. We didn't put any more time into the place that obviously couldn't be bothered to be ready for us.

My Uncle has been a resident for approximately 3 months and he really enjoys it! The staff and front office folks, led by [name removed] have been outstanding. I’ve noticed first hand by Uncle’s quality of life has significantly improved including his social interaction! I highly recommend Montara!!

Positives and negatives
Positives : office staff is very nice. Residents are very nice. Like that they come around and have maid service.
Negative, their elevators go out all the time and the residents get stuck in them. My mom got stuck in it once for 45 minutes . Then it was down for 3 days after that and the residents could not use the stairs because they needed the elevator. So they were stuck in their rooms.

My Experience Living At Montara Meadows
The apartment I have has been remodeled and is very nice. What brings my rating down are two items housekeeping and maintenance

Relieved
The staff are all helpful and friendly. And [name removed] loves the food! I would recommend them. They work with a home care company and they got all the help and medical care for[name removed] and they work directly with Medicare making the whole process much easier!

Wonderful facility with so much to offer! Spacious apartment, beautiful garden, numerous outdoor settings, indoor places to sit and relax, clean and organized!
General manager [name removed] and sales manager [name removed] went far beyond usual service to help us find appropriate accommodation to match our financial ability. Their professionalism and kind personality made all the difference for us.
We would highly recommend Holiday Montera assisted living to anyone who wants to live hotel- like style without having to worry about anything but showing up!

Montara Meadows is Outstanding
My wife and I toured Montara Meadows along with other similar Independent Living - All Inclusive communities for my elderly Uncle. We selected Montara Meadows. My uncle has been a resident for 6 weeks now and the place is wonderful! [Names Removed] and the staff have treated my uncle with loving open arms. It’s been a huge transition for him but they have been exceptional in welcoming him and making this his home!! I highly recommend Montara Meadows!

Our families experience
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to be helpful and they get things done quickly! It is a independent senior apartment complex, but it really has the feel of a family type community. Both[Names Removed] have been so good and extremely helpful during my mom's transition to her new surroundings. They make sure she participates in the activities and keep me updated on how she is doing. So thankful

Everyone was welcoming, the facility is clean and very convinience with amenities and all inclusive, pricing is very reasonable. Everyone seems to enjoy helping others and even the housekeper took the time to talk to us you can tell that seniors love to be there because they are in good hands very recommended

Montana Meadows is an ideal place to live at retirement age. The residents are treated with love,respect and dignity. The folks in the community seem very happy and satisfied with their living environment.
I will move to Montana Meadows next year when my full retirement age comes up.
The cost of living is very economicc and affordable. The facilitoes are clean and well maintained.

My overall experience was awesome. The staff are so informative and awesome. The activities have put a smile on mom's face. The apartments are a perfect size for her in the maid comes every Thursday keeping her apartment very clean with fresh linens. Thank you for recommending this place. My whole family. All my siblings are very happy. Mom is there.
