I'm happy when mom is happy!
[name removed] and [name removed] are outstanding. They are my second and third pair of eyes when I am out of town due to travel. They keep me updated on my mom's activity level as well as keep an eye on the food she is eating. ( She is diabetic and if you don't watch her closely, she will eats sweets)

Very pleasantly surprised!!!
I recently visited this home and was given a tour by The director, [name removed]. I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I was at the living conditions and the love and care that the staff shows their residents. [name removed] showed us the facility which includes a large dining room, recreations areas and seating areas where family can visit; a demo of their one bedroom apartment that had a nice living room area and a kitchen (very cozy), a gym and a pool. I could feel the pride she takes in the facility and as we walked along she knew everyone by their first name and the residents reciprocated and struck up such friendly and funny conversations! She showed us where the artwork made by the seniors were displayed and the area where they bring in outside entertainment for the seniors to enjoy. My dad has been staying there and I live 2000 miles away and wanted to surprise him, hence why I toured the facility.
I would highly recommend this home! I don't think it would disappoint! Best wishes!

I had a wonderful experience at Montara Meadows. The staff was kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and well taken care of. Great place, recently tour for my mother she is not ready yet but was a great experience we stay for lunch everyone was happy and employees were very friendly and helpful they introduce themselves and honestly surprised me with what a senior living can be instead of just a nursing home that I was expecting.

very friendly staff. While touring encountered 2 of the residances come up to the staff and gave them a hug.
The property is very clean and has areas where you can sit and enjoy the quite. Apartments are spacious with lots of cabinets for storage.

My Mom’s Transition to increase care
Toured a couple of Assisted Living facilities with my Mom this past [date removed]. Although every Assisted Living facility we visited was fantastic my Mom found an immediate connection with several residents at Montara. The easygoing pace of the facility, the staff friendliness and the food pretty much sealed the search. My Mom found new friends and a clean and well staff facility. The General Manager, [name removed], made my Mom and my siblings comfortable knowing she is being taken care of.

We arrived at 10am for our tour and they did not have anyone to show us around. They had our tour incorrectly scheduled a half hour later and asked us to wait. The person that was supposed to show us around still wasn't there at 10:30. They called her again at 10:40 and told us she lived 3 minutes away. We didn't put any more time into the place that obviously couldn't be bothered to be ready for us.

My Uncle has been a resident for approximately 3 months and he really enjoys it! The staff and front office folks, led by [name removed] have been outstanding. Positives and negatives
Positives : office staff is very nice. Residents are very nice. Like that they come around and have maid service.
Negative, their elevators go out all the time and the residents get stuck in them. My mom got stuck in it once for 45 minutes . Then it was down for 3 days after that and the residents could not use the stairs because they needed the elevator. So they were stuck in their rooms.

Wonderful facility with so much to offer! Spacious apartment, beautiful garden, numerous outdoor settings, indoor places to sit and relax, clean and organized!
General manager [name removed] and sales manager [name removed] went far beyond usual service to help us find appropriate accommodation to match our financial ability. Their professionalism and kind personality made all the difference for us.

Montara Meadows is Outstanding
My wife and I toured Montara Meadows along with other similar Independent Living - All Inclusive communities for my elderly Uncle. We selected Montara Meadows. My uncle has been a resident for 6 weeks now and the place is wonderful! [Names Removed] and the staff have treated my uncle with loving open arms. It’s been a huge transition for him but they have been exceptional in welcoming him and making this his home!! I highly recommend Montara Meadows!
