I only have 3 weeks in house but it's good so far.
It's a beautiful location with doctors, shopping, hospitals and airport all close by. The facility is well appointed. I moved here primarily for my safety and it's an excellent fit in that regard.
The things that prevent a 5 star rating are not major but do carry some weight. There is a definite shortage in staffing for meals with frequent delays of 35-40 minutes before orders are taken. The food is fine but sparse on the protein content across the board.
When I first toured this facility 11 months ago, there was much more going on for activities, in house and away . I'd hoped to be more engaged with other residents doing fun things.
Beyond that, the staff is supportive and caring and amazingly, know all of us by name. There is great concern for each other amongst the residents that is witnessed on a regular basis as well.
I'm happy in my decision to move here.

Elm Park is very friendly and has many activities for people. It's like home.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and they really care about the residents. You can always talk honestly with them about anything. We sometimes take day trips and we have trips to stores as well as medical appointments. We also have 3 meals daily which are prepared by a chef and staff.i highly recommend it.

Happy with this facility
[name removed] provided us good info and was always available when I called with questions My mom signed the contract and was ready to move in but unfortunately changed her mind two days before going. This was only because she was not ready to leave her home. If the time comes she is wanting to rethink her decision I will be calling again. Unfortunately she lost her deposit

My family has peace of mind knowing I'm cared for at Holiday Elm Park Estates!
. In general, I am content with my choice of Holiday Elm Park Estates. Cleanliness is above reproach. Staff here is above and beyond! The Care here is genuine. Management looks to our well being individually, and the residents look after each other as well. Dining communally is a great way to socialize!
Even though residents have other things to do, we gather and share a meal. Like family! Considering food is a challenge. My first few months here, the food was regrettable, then we changed chefs. Excellent for a while, then he left. We are in flux now, waiting for Corporate to hire a qualified chef. Activities fill our weekly calendar. I'm not one for card games, but I like games that take thinking. Trivia is the best!

Review for Holiday Elm Park Estates
I have already described this to friends as an old time British Residential Hotel! I picked this community because my daughter lives 8 minutes away. I didn't need Assisted Living, but I had a health incident awhile ago, and didn't want to live alone. I Googled 55+ residences - in my daughter's zip code, and Bingo! A Place For Mom picked up my inquiry, arranged a virtual tour with my daughter and me in FaceTime.

Homey and Affordable
Elm Park Estates is a lovely senior independent living community that offers an affordable, homey environment. The staff was friendly and welcoming. [name removed]was very professional and informed, but also down to earth. I loved the updated, apartment we were shown, which was bright and had a beautiful view. I also loved the free amenities offered, such as a library, laundry facilities, activities and transportation. The facility was clean and open. I especially loved the dining area! I was pleased to hear that updates were in the works for the common areas, as the decor in these areas was a little dated. It is currently a relaxed, comforting style, but new finishes will only enhance the appeal to potential residents. Overall, Elm Park Estates is a welcoming, clean and affordable community that an independent senior would love!

Tour Review
Our family had an in-person tour and I was not impressed with Elm Park. It was older and worn. It seems clean but very dated and dark. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost was the lowest.

A Nice Place for Senior Living and Retirement
This has been excellent for the family and our loved one. The staff have been willing to work with my loved one when we brought them in. The staff are very friendly. Thy are always around to answer our questions or address our concerns about our loved one one.
There are activities for the residents to participate in if they want to.
There is a dining room for the residents to eat and socialize in. There is a menu for the residents to order off of. Also, if the residents don't feel well, there is a list they can place their name on and the staff will bring the meals to the resident's rooms.

Sincere Staff at Elm Park
The staff seem to genuinely care about the residents at this community and the safety and happiness of the residents. It will be better when they are able to take them out on activities, however for now they have things like Bingo, wii bowling, bean bag toss, dominoes and more for the residents to do to keep busy. The staff are terrific with the residents. They have a work out class also however, it would be better if it was more often.

a nice place for mom to live
Elm Park is a very nice place. it seems very friendly and homey. a lot of the residents interact and are friends with one another. they currently have activities like bingo and bible studio, and are working toward incorporating more outings once Covid protocols are lifted.
