They are WONDERFUL to her. She tells people that ask how she is doing, or how she likes it, that she is doing great, that everyone is very nice, and that she feels at home. All the residents eat together and socialize, they hang out in a huge bright open living room together during the day and work on word search, puzzles and play bingo. They work with the library to bring books the residents are interested in, and keep track of the books and returning them, etc. The residents are invited and encouraged to go on walks with a caregiver in the neighborhood if they want to. They have a very fun musician that comes in regularly to play piano and sing together, and I come weekly to play brain games, do chair workouts, play balloon games, pool noodle hockey, and laugh together! We also have arts and crafts regularly. It is really a wonderful place and I feel super relieved, blessed and happy my mom is here!
