My husband had been in a terrible nursing home. I was having many difficulties moving him for various reasons. At my wits end I remembered that there was something called assisted living but wasn't sure if it was for someone as afflicted as my husband. After another exhausting day of dead ends I was researching facilities and A place For Mom popped up. I use to see [name removed] advertise for them on TV. They saw my search and reached out to me. They explained how assisted living works and gave me list of homes to check out. Heart To Heart was first place I interviewed. Was amazed at the cost with it being so much more reasonable than anything I had found. [name removed]was so understanding and I felt she saw my exhaustion and desperation. She assured me they could help and handle my husband's condition. This home was a show place in the neighborhood.\n\nIt was decorated beautifully and so uplifting and cheerful. The staff [name removed], [name removed]and weekend crew were amazing. Caring understanding and helpful explaining certain things about my husband's condition and behavior. Amazing home cooked meals by [name removed]. My husband was always immaculately groomed everyday. All his needs seemed to always be taken care of. When [name removed](husband) walked in front door he looked so surprised and said This is just Beautiful. Repeated it and smiled. He hadn't smiled in months and he normally wouldn't make a remark like that. I truly believed he was so grateful to be there and that he knew he was in a good place. So grateful the last 3 months of his life was in a pleasant and safe place.
