We are very satisfied with The Haven Home Assisted Living
The small home setting was perfect for the couple we had to place. We felt the warmth and coziness of The Haven Home. They have adequate caring staff and someone is with them 24 hours - 7 days a week.

My mother, [name removed], was there for almost 3 years. She was content and became quite comfortable. Two of my friends ended up putting their moms there as a result of how well mine did. I often came to play Bingo with her and the others. Very glad she was able to be there. Thank you!

My mother lived in Haven Home for several years and was very happy there. She once thanked me for finding her such a friendly place. The facility was so homelike and always clean. Staff was attentive to residents' needs and very communicative with their families. It truly was 'home' for my mother.

We have had 2 family members at the Haven Home. The staff have been wonderful, caring people who have stayed long term. They have always watched out for our loved ones and kept us informed. I like that it is a small group, not overwhelming. It is as close to home as a facility can get.

After my father's passing, mom went into a large Connecticut assisted living facility with many amenities. The facility was very expensive, and the apartment type living was not working well for her. After 3 years of managing her care long-distance, I realized that mom needed to be near me in a small, home-like environment. I had two friends with mothers at Haven Home, and they highly recommended that I check into the home. I visited Haven Home, met with the manager, and discussed in detail Mom's difficulties and needs. Convinced that Haven Home would be a good fit for her, I moved my mother from CT to OH. Mom spend the next 7 years at Haven Home until she passed there under hospice care. She always had understanding and loving care, and the staff was great in communicating with me. I highly recommend Haven Home for seniors who cannot afford or would not do well in a larger facility.

Love this place!
I can't say enough about Haven Home. It is wonderful! The staff is great, they treat the residents like family. It is very homey and clean. This is the first time since my mom left her home that I don't feel like I have to worry about her, because I know she's well cared for. I am so happy with Haven Home.

Be sure when you give your deposit for your loved one to enter Haven Home that is what you are going to do. My mother was set to go in here and got very ill and put on oxygen 24/7 and had a big turn for the worse where I had to quit my job to stay home and care for her and they refuse to return deposit. After many phone calls with [name removed]not answering or returning messages I had to go see an attorney and after giving them another chance to respond they only returned half of deposit and the rest they charged for days my mother wasn't even to enter there yet. [name removed]just has staff say she is not there or in meetings and then my last try she said check is in the mail. That was 2 weeks ago. Understandable the $350 app fee was not being returned, but the deposit should be. They are very rude and don't want to deal with anything honestly. They will not let you speak to the owners they want to remain anonymous

Thumbs Up for Haven Home
My mother has been a resident of Haven Home for over a year and she couldn't be happier. We moved her there from a nursing home facility where she was very depressed. She came to Haven Home limited to a wheelchair. In a matter of days she was up and using her walker again. Physical therapy provided there greatly increased her abilities. She enjoys her private room which affords her time to read or watch her favorite TV programs without interruption. The home is clean, the staff has been wonderful and she has never complained about the meals.

Heavenly Home :)
I feel like my Grandma has won the lottery to be able to live at Haven Home. Robin the manager is so loving and caring with her residents. She is also great at communicating, being open about everything and answering any and all questions that you may have. The staff at Haven Home are all very kind and helpful as well. When you arive at Haven Home the first thing you notice is that it is a cute little yellow ranch with maroon shutters and front door. When you walk inside there are beautiful cathedral ceilings along with a cream and light pink interior. It is very warm and cozy there and it is also very clean and the only smell is the wonderful food that they cook for their residents. My Grandma's room is very spacious and private. They want you to bring as many personal things as possible to help make this new place feel like home. They also allow you to hang any pictures or decorations that you would like as well. My Grandma moved in and said thank you and she was very happy.
I really could keep going on about how wonderful I feel this place is but I'm sure you get the picture by now. :)
