She made us feel like it was more than a job to her - she went above and beyond. My mom has been well cared for. They check on her frequently and are very friendly. The staff all know her. I had one concern about a cleanliness issue, and as soon as I brought it to their attention it was corrected and hasn't occurred since. My mom is not too enthused with the food, but she's eating. The activities director is always in contact, keeps a schedule posted, and has a lot going on. I like that the staff always try to get the residents engaged and involved. There are three different neighborhoods for mild, moderate, and advanced dementia. Originally they had placed my mom in the moderate neighborhood, but once they realized she was higher functioning than they first thought, they promptly moved her to the mild neighborhood to preserve her cognitive functioning. It's expensive (as they all are), but they provide good care for my mom, which is what matters. She's safe, and that gives me peace of mind.
