After suffering a fall and very poor progress at a nursing home for rehab, it was clear Mom could not return home. We met with staff at Hallelujah AFH and made an instant connection. My mom, who is very slow to warm to anyone has already decided that she wants to hire their staff for herself should she be able to go home. They’ve made a real effort to get to know her, tailor a personal care plan that meets her needs and made the transition of moving as easy as possible. In my mom’s case she was completely lost at the rehab facility, she was confused, barely eating and too tired to participate in any physical therapy. She’s been with Hallelujah for just 3 weeks and the root cause of these issues was finally identified and now she’s able to focus on healing from her fall. The staff is very kind, attentive and make their place really feel like a home.
