A great value, highly recommended
I would emphasize the value because it is a non- profit. Compared to other for-profit facilities that are competing for new residents, anyone who is on a budget could not do better than Good Samaritan. The amount of square footage in the apartments is double what we found for at other places that were roughly the same or more money. It is bigger apartments for a lower price. I would recommend them to others looking.

Do not let your loved one live here!!!
Do not allow your loved one to live here!!! My parents lived there until Hurricane Irma hit and they lost their apt. A large portion of the property floods repeatedly during hurricanes, which is a KNOWN issue. The “Christians” who run this organization do not mention this information when they rent to these poor old souls. When Shingle Creek floods, the water treatment facility then floods, and raw sewerage backs up through toilets into residents homes. Next comes the contaminated flood waters. Finally the GSS information line voicemail fills up, Facebook responses contain no information, and residents are left to find shelter while mold grows on their belongings in their flooded homes. Repeated again during Hurricane Ian. AVOID!!!

Community Tour
I thought Good Samaritan was a nice facility, although it was somewhat older. We didn't really see residents around to stop and talk to while we were on the tour. One concern for us was the activities center where some of the activities take place is at a distance. So instead of being right there at the facility, residents would have to get on a golf cart or drive to the activities center.
