She was with Kaiser Hospice (I don't recommend this for anyone), and I think it contributed to her demise. When we transferred her to Fullerton Guest Homes - they helped us get a new hospice group for her. Compassionate Care hospice was so good to her. A nurse came to visit her 2-3 times a week. He built a relationship with her, and when her health started to decline he could tell right away. The staff loved her as I would. They tried to help her eat by giving her things she liked eating, and would feel her her meals. When I left for the night, they would assure me they would look after her and I didn't have to worry.
