We were founded in 2006 after our founder’s grandmother had a negative experience in a nursing community, and he vowed to create a home care service that prioritized wellness, compassion, and true empathy.</p>
<p>As a faith-based organization, we vet all of our staff to ensure that they possess the empathy, compassion, and experience to be well-suited to meet your needs.</p>
<p>In 2012, we transitioned to new ownership under Rebekah LaFontaine, who oversees all operations and management. Under her management, we have been able to expand our care services to assist those in Ann Arbor, Monroe, Toledo, Sylvania, and Perrysburg.</p>
<h3>Service Options</h3>
<p>Friends of the Family Home Health specializes in home care and provides a variety of services. We know that trusting someone to come in and spend time with your loved ones is often a stressful process, which is why we carefully handpick our staff to align with the values that matter most to our clients: maintaining their dignity and leading with love.</p>
<p>Of our variety of services, we specialize in exceptional dementia and memory care, companion care, personal hygiene care, transportation, respite/relief care, and nursing care. Our nursing services provide basic non-medical care to assist you or your loved one with completing basic daily tasks.</p>
<p>We know the importance of consistency in your care. Friends of the Family Home Health has a non-cancellation policy where even if your scheduled care provider cannot make it, we will find another staff member to assist you — even if it’s the CEO.</p>
