LOVE IT HERE!
My husband and I first looked at 'Blossom Ridge' when it was first opening and decided this was where we wanted to spend our ending years. I lost him in 2021 and came here by myself in 2024. IT WAS EXACTLY THE RIGHT DECISION FOR ME. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND CARING, AND SO HARD WORKING, AND THERE IS A NEVER ENDING LIST OF THINGS TO DO: GAMES TO PLAY, TRIPS TO SHARE, PROGRAMS TO ENJOY. The staff is friendly and caring, AND THEY LISTEN. They may not always get things done as quickly as we might like, but they are working at them constantly. Friendly staff, SAFE and lovely place to live, good food and great neighbors...what more could I ask at this stage of my life?

Corporate facility - no compassion
Yes, the building that the Moceri family designed and built with their love ones in mind is beautiful, now that it is corporately owned, the inner beauty is gone! The administration cares more about the bottom line than the human condition and their residents. They care more about finding ways to increase their revenue through trumped up care level assessments, a Wellness Director that lacks skills in leadership, medication administration, end of life care, etc. They also have an Executive Director and Regional Director that cares more about the optics of written communication than actual follow-through on what they pretend they state to be improving. Sad situation for so many families that now feel stuck in this facility! The OG staff remains committed to their residents, so the scores requested reflect the friendliness of the original staff members.

Parents from Florida to Flourish Collection
My parents are 89 years old and have moved from Florida, where they lived for 23 years to Flourish Collection Rochester.
It seems like there was some growing pains with new ownership, once they had put the right people in place it has been very smooth.
Eveyone from the front desk, care givers, wait staff, coordinators and upper management have treated our family with respect and kindness.
My mother and father love it there after only 2 months.

Horrible
Once you get the tour and all the candy coated promises your loved one will receive and sign the dotted line you are screwed. The first 10 days mom did not get a shower and was told they're short staffed. Nobody seems to be organized or what's going on. She Needs help to the bathroom and waites up to 45 minutes on an average every time to get help. Sometimes she is left on the toilet for up to a 1/2 and hour and her legs go numb. We are constantly told they are short staffed. Seriously, When you are paying over $[removed] for one unit, times that by how many rooms and money they are receiving. Yes, the front desk is very friendly but many of the workers are short tempered, rude, impatient and leave her for long amounts of time when she needs help. Very disappointed especially when we are paying an astronomical amount for her to get good care. We don't expect perfection by any means and understand sometimes there will be hiccups but this place is horrible! DO NOT!

I have been here from the beginning. 6+ years. I love the ambience I ride my bike all over. I love serve staff. Always courteous. Love front desk restaurants sometimes good. Too much garlic and spice for elderly food cones often cold. "Not serves fault.

The most remarkable thing was how unfriendly the residents were - no one said hi to the staff people escorting us much less to us directly. Not welcoming at all.

incredible place to live
We feel that our loved ones are safe at Blossom Ridge and that the staff love them, it is just not a job for them they actually show genuine care and concern. They have great musical activities and the daily activities are starting to come back from all the covid limitations. The value for the money is completely worth it and we would recommend this community to others.
