I think staffing might be an issue. The main public areas are quite clean and well kept. That said, I often find my loved one's bathroom floor sticky and wonder when it was last cleaned. My loved one has no complaints about the food, but a new Chef just started this week so we will see. Communication with the family has been good. Sometimes communication from primary care or specialists to either The Retreat or home health care isn't great and someone needs to stay on top of things. The medicine management is well run. Lastly, The Retreat only offers rides to appointments one day a week. Other times it is pay for a ride, wait, and return trip. Not thrilled with that. If the expectation is that The Retreat transports, it might be disappointing.
