A good place with caring staff and decent food
The facility staff are really caring and seem to like what they do. They know the residents and keep tabs on folks coming and going. There has been a recent change in ownership but so far we just see improvements and seems most of the staff is still the same.

Not Great
In the beginning it was awesome, they could handle what I was needing for my mother.
But once we actually got in there, it seemed to be over their heads. Unfortunately they had lost my mom several times.
They are not equipped or educated to handle this type of case.
The facility is beautiful but just did not fit for our needs. It is clean and the food is also great.
I was not impressed at all with that piece of it. They shouldn't advertise anything with memory care in my opinion, as I do believe they have the correct experience for those types of patients.
Communication was very bad in addition.
When you have patients with memory care issues, they need to be on a daily routine, checked on often and not left alone to wander off which caused her to be lost several times, likely more than I believe I was told.

They have the best menus and [name removed] is the best cook. He could make rag soup taste good.. I would go back there today, if they had an Independent apartments available.

Excellent Senior Retirement Living
My experience has all been very positive. I would highly recommend them. It's a small place, but that's part of its charm. The staff are great. My loved one says the food is okay. She's kind of figured out what she likes best, so now she knows what to order. Activities have been a little limited due to Covid, but they do still provide them - things like exercises from their doorways. And I know my loved one looks forward to those each day.

I would recommend
We chose Prestige Senior Living because it just seemed at the time to be the best fit for my mom and the value for the money. They also accept medicare. Initially they were very short handed with staff, but recently it has improved and they have an RN on site. She does complain that she does not like the food, she has allergies and said she is limited to what she can eat. She is also the last stop so the food is cold when it is getting delivered to her. I would definitely recommend them to others looking, they have been very helpful to our family.
