Not The Place For Complicated Dementia Patients
The area always appeared clean, the staff were helpful, and activities were frequently offered.
Unfortunately, the staff and facility itself seemed unequipped to handle dementia patients who exhibited agitation/aggression and instead would send her to a geriatric psychiatric hospital. The back and forth in location and constant changes to her medication quickly worsened her dementia and her physical abilities and had multiple falls.
I believe that if she had been able to remain at Dominion and been treated with emergency medication during her outbursts she would have done better for longer and stayed alive longer.

Would not recommend.
The staff, i.e. aides, nurses, CNAs, are very caring. But this facility is for much older residents, not people my mother's age (78). That is one sticking point I have a problem with. The majority of residents have varying levels of dementia. And don't expect privacy. Food is terrible. If I could rate 0, I would. Probably the only positive thing about Dominion is the care staff... the ones who directly care for the residents. Administration stinks too. Sorry... but that's my honest experience with them. The cons outweigh the pros. I would not recommend Dominion.

Thank you for the opportunity to share our experience. In a word - WONDERFUL!
The overall experience has been Superb! On occasion there is an odor in my mom's room. THe friendliness of the staff and the care services gets a 5+. Beyond excellent! Very friendly and always available to help!. My mom complains about the food but still cleans her plate! My mom s not very good about taking advantage of the FUN opportunities. The value for cost gets a 5+ Much better care and loving atmosphere than where Mom was before and it's more affordable. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Memory Care at Dominion Senior Living
The facility for assisted living and memory care is beautiful and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and answers all of my questions. They make good suggestions as well to help me with Mom. The food is more than adequate with mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. The cost is high due to an extra assessment for memory care. Regardless, we are pleased.

Great value for your money
It is very clean but subtle odor of urine some days. My mom is very picky about food and only complains occasionally! The activities are great for residents and families. I wish my mom participated more, but that's not bc of the activities. Value for cost is MUCH better than Mom's last place, [community removed], for less money.

Dominion Sr Living goes above and beyond
My husband's parents were living in Florida. We knew we had to bring them here to be close to us. I toured so many facilities, but the minute I walked into Dominion Sr Living, I knew I had found the place for them. Of course, there are problems bringing someone from another state but everyone here went above and beyond to walk us through the hurdles. We feel very blessed to have our parents here.

Sweet, caring, friendly, best experience in a senior living home.
My family and I had a wonderful time tonight. We loved listening to the carolers and eating the food. It has been a good place for my grandparents and I am glad they are here! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like home. The staff is attentive, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure residents are comfortable and happy. The facility is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities that cater to the needs of seniors.

Very nice employees
Breakfasts are good. The workers do an excellent job of providing each resident their favorites for this meal. There is a lot of individual attention to their taste. The other two meals could be improved by serving the meats with gravy and fewer vegetables claims my mother . The activity directors are fabulous. They try very hard to provide a variety of activities. The employees offering personal care in medicine administration, bathing and dressing are top notch!
