Welcome to Demaree Crossing! This community provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care services to seniors in Greenwood, Indiana. Demaree Crossing is located near area shops, restaurants, and medical centers — enabling all residents to have access to the many amenities Greenwood has to offer.
With a variety of progressive care types, seniors can age in place even as their care needs change over time. Through compassionate care, a beautiful campus, thoughtfully planned activities, and other residents to socialize with, this community helps seniors live a fulfilling life — no matter where they are in their aging process. Residents at Demaree Crossing are provided with a variety of personalized care services, including diabetic care, personal care, ambulatory care, memory care, and medication management. The staff is specially trained in memory care to help ensure those with memory-related conditions can receive appropriate care for their specialized needs.

Demaree was God's gift to us at a difficult time.
My mom is now in heaven and was only at Demaree Crossing for a few days. The folks there took amazing care of her and of us. [name removed], our nurse, was so caring and attentive to mom. The nursing and care staff were all wonderful. Even the folks in the dining room were personable and kind. Demaree was God's gift to us at a difficult time.

Greatest Place To Live
The most important thing is the care our staff gives us. We are loved and respected. A good place to meet new friends. There are plenty of activities to choose from. A delightful experience is our bus trips to Walmart and other areas of interest. Another bonus is they will take you to your doctor appointments. A good substitute for the home we gave up when moving here. I can’t imagine living any other place

Demaree crossing is wonderful
Wonderful place for my mom and later father-in-law. Loved the activities and music they have each week. Staff is caring and always cheerful. Best in the state. They also take bus trips to restaurants and shops that the residents love.

Family friendly place!!
This place is awesome! They have activities every day for the residents and weekly for the families! My mom loves the food. The staff are so nice and supportive. It’s always very clean. They are welcoming to my mom’s dog too. I highly recommend Demaree Crossing in Greenwood Indiana!!!!!

Seems like a really good place!
I’ve come to visit my grandpa here twice and both times have been great. The food has been amazing, the staff nice and kind, and everything very clean! I’m glad my grandpa can stay at such a nice, modern place. I enjoy coming here to visit during their events!

It’s awesome.
The staff is extremely awesome. Everyone is so nice. The family dinners are a great time each month. Lots of laughter each month. If you have a family member and are currently looking for a lovely place you should choose this place!

Cheerful, clean place good service
My father had to go into assisted-living due to a deterioration if his mobility at 92 he was very independent person who would never dreamed of going into assisted-living but it’s been a pretty pleasant transition for him and he adjusted well in his studio apartment. The facility is very clean there. The people are friendly and cheerful and I feel much better, he is safe and secure with people around him than his own at his house

Demaree Crossing is the Best!
I chose Demaree Crossing for my mom basically by the looks of it. It's very nice, clean, open concept...overall a wonderful place to live. She is in memory care but the staff through-out the whole facility is excellent...they are very caring, very helpful, very attentive, and most importantly they treat my mother with love and respect.
She has a very nice room that we decorated with mom's own furniture and personal things to make it 'her' home. The food is great, the dining area is very nice, and they have so many activities for their residents to participate in if they choose to. They do exercises every day, play games, watch TV in an open area, and do creative activities making things, etc. They can even get their fingernails polished if they want to! There is also an outside patio area where they can take a walk and sit outside to get some fresh air.
I am so pleased with Demaree Crossing and will tell everyone I know that Demaree Crossing is the absolute Best!

[name removed], the nursing Director is amazing! Overall, I think my mother-in-law is getting decent care. I would probably tell them to weigh all options with other locations before deciding. I feel like the nursing care is good, but the office staff especially business manager is terrible returning messages and helping out with questions. I think the food could be much better than what they give them.

A Facility to Entrust for a Loved One
My husband and I were looking for a facility for his mother, and we needed to find one quickly for her. We were directed to visit several assisted living possibilities by “A Place for Mom”, Demaree Crossing being one.
Upon visiting, we found the Administrator to be very helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely quick with any questions we asked. She showed us several apartment types that we could look at to try that would most meet my mother-in-laws needs.
We found the facility clean, friendly, and with an activity going on. I felt it to have warmth. It had a turn around time quite suitable and enough staff to be able to meet her needs and make us feel totally comfortable and confident to meet our loved one’s needs. Something we all hope for our parents!

It wasn't the place I expected but the best out of the 4 in one year
The turnover rate since July 2023 is astronomical . The director the business office the head nurse almost every nurse and they had staffing agency people working to fill in . None of them. Knowing none of the memory care people. Activities on the memory care side was non existent mom participated in 3 crafts in 8 months. Morning exercises M-F and they had a lot of music brought in and the assisted living side has happy hour. And a lot of activities. No dietary restrictions were remembered it was just no caffeine. But without staff she was frequently given caffeine . Hair washing that was stated at bath time rarely happened sometimes 2 months and the beauty shop charges 35$ just to wash hair . The grace at home dr quit and they had a fill in person who communicated with the staffing agency who knew nothing . Instead of calling me as requested. Even the memory care director quit . Everyone but maintenance and housekeeping and the craft activity people quit . So many things missing/ taken the saddest thing was a baby doll given at Christmas gone by that evening before 5 pm her shower chair was taken twice still missing along with a lot of her belongings. Teddy bear from hospital , blankets , shower chair shirt from Hawaii I bought her . I had 2 full sets of others clothing stuffed in her closet to sort through. Moving day was the worst . After 3 hours without help only grief about her missing things . I was followed to my car to be harrased .

My Uncle is very happy to be so well taken care of, and I appreciate their care and concern. The director offered much more useful information than other facilities. It is a one level facility with a more close-knit community of people because there are not 100's of residents. They worked with us on the price and the way they handle the "extras" for additional costs was different from all other facilities.

Demaree is a great place
All around it had the most friendly staff, cleanliness, felt comfortable and more like home than the other places. We love it for my mother in law. Everyone is helpful and attentive to her needs. When i am there I watch how the staff interacts with the residents and they are so friendly and supportive. My mother-in-law, loves going to the on sight salon each week to get her hair done

The Ideal Assisted Living Community
As soon as you walk in, the community smells delicious. The dining room and kitchen are just off the side of the entrance, providing a smell that you may recall from your grandmother's kitchen. From scratch! Everything they cook at Demaree Crossing is from scratch! It's the best food I've ever eaten in an Assisted Living community. And I have 25yrs in the industry. Demaree Crossing is beautiful, clean, positive and the residents are engaging and engaged. There's always something lively going on at Demaree Crossing. You should really take a look at this place. It's different from all the rest!

We absolutely loved Demaree Crossing. Only reason we went to another facility was because it was close to where my Mom used to live and work. She thought she would know more people down there. I loved all the activities and I thought my Mom would love the greenhouse. Demaree was small and easy to get around. It was out in the country a bit. Staff was excellent! Just all around a nice place.
