This large, private facility holds three stories of independent living and assisted living apartments, and some offer private balconies or patios. True to its name, there are spacious courtyards in the community with patio seating, greenery, and paved walking paths. Choosing a place for a loved one is stressful, but the team at Courtyard Fountains made us feel at ease immediately. Every staff member was incredibly patient, answering every one of our 100 questions without rushing us. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the residents; every interaction I witnessed was kind and respectful.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this nursing home. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and reassured. The staff is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and professional. They treat every resident with dignity and genuine care, and it truly shows in the positive atmosphere throughout the facility.

My grandma recently had the pleasure of staying at Courtyard Fountains, and our family couldn’t be more grateful for the experience she’s had there.
From the very beginning, the staff made her feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Moving into a senior living community can be a big transition, but the team went out of their way to make it smooth and comforting. They were patient, kind, and always ready to answer our questions.
The community itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The grounds are peaceful, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting rather than clinical. My grandma especially enjoys the fountains and common areas where she can relax and spend time with friends.
What stands out most is the level of care and attention she receives. The staff regularly check in on her, and it’s clear they truly care about the residents’ well-being. She’s made new friends, participates in activities, and seems happier and more engaged than she has been in a long time.

Come play wii bowling!
I have lived here for 16 years and it has been a fun place to spend this phase of my life. I consider the employees and residents my family and team members. Working together has been a pleasure for me. I am 96 years old, in good health and enjoy independent living here. I participate and run the Wii bowlimg and Wii golf programs here. Great place to live.

Business manager is wonderful. She is very great with the residents. She makes sure she gets back to you in a timely manner on any questions or problems you have. Maintenance is timely in fixing problems. There are many and varied activities.

A great waiting room before heaven
Very friendly and safe. Cozy and warm environment. Awesome staff and well maintained. Lots of activities, a work out room, library, pool table, and a game room. A large outdoor patio area with fountains, gardens, outdoor furniture, and walking paths. Bus tours. The units have cleaning service. A restaurant style dining facility.

Toured the community as a possible location for moving my dad into from California. He recently lost his wife and wants to be closer to family in Oregon. I think he'd really like the place since he's really social and it seemed to be pretty lively and the people were really friendly. He's not ready to move yet but when he visits this summer I'm definitely going to take him to check it out. I also liked that the community has some diversity since most don't. He's African American and I was completely impressed with their wall honoring black history. I also saw some people of color in the dining room.

I was given lunch and my tour guide gave me time to connect with people I know as well as showing me the facilities and answering all my questions.
My only confusion was that the pricing list she gave me was significantly higher than what I had heard in other messages and also from one resident.
However since then the facility has offered me a great financial deal.
I would certainly go to this facility with no regrets if my financial resources would permit and when more help for assisted living is needed.

I would say that a rating of 4-5 for all categories would be appropriate. . I really was impressed with how helpful a place for mom was, and how friendly and accommodating Courtyard Fountains was also. Mom is very satisfied and content in her new place and we are so glad she is in a safe and friendly environment.

My Experience
Courtyard Fountains would be good for someone really needing a retirement community. There are good maintenance people and the kitchen staff does try. The food was not that good and I am vegan and there were almost no options. The meals arrived at the table cold and the service was slow sometimes. There were occasions when there was no hot water. They did seem to have fun activities and I enjoyed the opportunity to use the green house.

Pros and cons
The front desk is extremely friendly and helpful! Our first experience with marketing was horrible. When I explained mom's budget, she said basically sorry but that's not enough money and made me feel like we weren't good enough for courtyard. Fortunately I pushed back and we were connected with a different marketer who was fabulous and we were able to get mom a studio which fit her budget.
Mom says everyone complains about the food...serving sizes are very small, food is either under or over cooked. Also they do not offer sodas at mealtime, but always have alcohol for happy hour. The activity calendar font is so small, it's nearly illegible.

Extremely friendly staff AND residents at Courtyard Fountains. The move in process was easy, but a little more communication from them regarding apartment readiness would have been helpful. Mom says that the majority of the food is good, but expresses repeatedly that the portions are small and that they limit some items...for example they are allowed only one cookie? Overall, I would recommend Courtyard Fountains to others.
