ComForCare has been invaluable to assist my mother during her convalescence following a fall and a broken wrist. My mother is in assisted living, but because of her injury she needed assistance with her daily activities. The caregiver has assisted my mother in many of her daily tasks, been a companion, and consistently kept a record of my mother's care. The caregiver has taken my mother to doctor appointments and even driven my mother to my home 2 hours away when my daughter and my mother's granddaughter and great-grandchildren were visiting from out of state. Because I am 2-hours from my mother's current home, it has been very important to me to have someone I can trust with her care during this time. I can strongly recommend this ComForCare for a caregiver in your time of need.

Caring for your loved one
We have been happy with Comforcare with providing caregivers for my mother in the last 9 years. Just like most agencies, quality caregivers are hard to find who are compassionate and respectful of those they care for. In addition to the caregivers, the company overall including the administration, office staff, and nursing coordinators assist with issues with either phone conversations or face to face meetings in order to resolve any issues/concerns. The staff are diligent with working with the families in order to provide the best fit for your loved one. I would strongly recommend at least talking to Comforcare when deciding care for your loved one.

Staff is very helpful

Companion care
Very pleased with our experience with ComForCare. In the last couple of weeks of our mother’s life, we had a “companion” come in over night for company if our mother woke up confused or needed any assistance. Each of the companions were very loving and helpful in keeping mom comfortable while the family was not around. Very pleased with open communication with the office and their desire to meet all of our needs. We would refer them to take care of anyone’s loved ones! ??

My mother has been a client of Comfort Care for several years. Her caregiver is so wonderful to her and keeps her busy all day long. Above and beyond
[Name removed] at Comforcare has definitely found her calling. She is so thoughtful and caring. It's obvious she cares about her clients and their families.
Although, we ended up not needing their services, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family. [Name removed] and her team went above and beyond for us even though we had not even hired them yet. Please understand our situation changed and that's why we never used the caregivers, it had nothing to do with the services provided.

We have been with Com For Care since [date removed] and are not planning to change. There have been times I haven't been happy because our caregiver didn't show up and wasn't able to leave and go exercise. I had to stay home and help my wife. My children want me to be able to get away once in a while. We also know the caregiving workers come and go quite often. It really is a tough job and not just anyone can do it.

Kind caregivers and staff
Great staff in administrative office to work with. Very accommodating and comparable prices.
Care giver was very kind and patient.
I needed more communication as to how visiting and care was going. Since my mom has dementia I couldn’t get a report so to speak. We did get in a groove.
I had only use the services when I traveled but am now needing more weekly care a few hours in the morning.

Horrible mom went thru 10 caregivers in 3 months that can't keep anyone for more than 2 weeks. They overcharged for hours caregiver was not there. Very unreliable. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I just found out that after firing them in Jan, they are still withdrawing funds from my moms acct. PLEASE do not do direct withdrawal for payment as they keep this info. And please watch your accts carefully. Horrible company!!!!!!

Rocky start but improving
In the beginning we had some issues with the caregivers. Two of the main things you have to do is hook up her oxygen and give her medication. One wasn't doing it at all and the other was not consistent.The caregiver they are now sending is very good about doing those two things everyday.One of the reasons we chose this agency is They said they had a live portal where we could see instant updates. They were not accurate about how they described this feature, it is basically a schedule of which caregivers are coming to the home on certain days. Our caregiver is very good about reaching out and keeping us updated but I think the company has an overall issue with communication. I would recommend this agency to a friend but with full disclosure of the issues we've had.
