He was soon walking independently with a rollator. He began to once again enjoy meal times and snack times. He liked being out in the sun in the enclosed central courtyard. Many activities for the residents include: holiday cookouts, planting flowers, muscial programs, and many outside adventures; the zoo, farmer's market, state fair, etc. Families are encouraged to visit any time and participate in activities with loved ones. The staff is trained in memory care techniques, acknowledging residents by name as they pass by and asking how they're doing. My husband was happier due to the socialization and interaction with others. The administrative staff, medical staff, and support staff; maintenance, kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping operate efficiently and answer any questions promptly.
