Friendly, affordable facility
My sister is pretty happy in Chateau de Boise.

Perfect fit
The staff is very friendly. They know all the residents and notice if they have not been active in a day or two, they will check on them.
Apartments vary in size and price. She has a large1 bedroom. Lots of closet/storage space.

Review for Chateau De Boise
They have changed owners twice since my parents have been there and neither new company has felt like a good change. Housekeeping is a big issue in two months, they got housekeeping 1 instead of every week.. Since the last change in owners, the staff seem stressed and it feels they are taking it out on the residents. My loved ones no longer trust the staff.

I am no longer living here. The place is a complete mess. The managers are flying by the seat of their pants with no
experience. They really need to hire more experienced people. Also need a bigger food allowance. I will never move into another facility.

Nice community with room for improvements
My parents enjoy socializing with other residents. Residents are displaced for extended periods of time when repairs need to be done. My parents' apartment flooded two weeks after moving in & couldn't move back into their apartment for another 3 months. Food is pretty bad. They are often out of items on the menu. Not much is planned for the residents here. Always understaffed which is the typical excuse when something doesn't get done. Residents don't receive regular services they pay for monthly such as housekeeping

Affordable
Been here a little over a month and not yet settled in but managing day-to-day.I’m not a big joiner with games, cards, etc. Prefer quiet and solitary time, away from loud voices and noises. Tend to find like-minded folks to share mealtimes.

Our Experience
I'm going to be honest. The staff is nice, but understaffed. There are very few activities. The food is okay, but the chicken and pork are usually too tough to chew. The weekly housekeeping that was promised doesn't exist. I would only recommend this place for someone that lives independently 100% and still drives. As of now, I will probably move my loved one next spring when her current lease expires.

Welcoming facility
We chose this facility because of the location to things in the community. -this facility has easy access to shopping, banking and freeways.
This facility lets residents decide where to sit at meals and activities. Residents here have been very inclusive and welcoming to others.
Made a huge difference on Mom getting comfortable with the move.
I would recommend them.

Review for Holiday Chateau De Boise
If a friend asked me, I would say the cottage life is great. I do not have experience with the other building. The food is not as good as I thought it would be, the grounds keepers do not make the place look beautiful as it could be. We have a car port that is a plus.They offered us a 2 bedroom cottage, once a week cleaning service, 3 meals a day, occasional trips for doctor appointments and shopping > by bus, less money then salmon creek and we didn't have the multitude of assisted living then we had at S C.

wonderful staff, a good place to live, affordable community
The main reason that we chose Holiday Chateau De Boise was because of the affordability of the facility.
The main thing that sticks out about them would be the staff - they have all been super friendly and helpful as well!
I would absolutely recommend this Independent Living facility to others.

Chateau De Boise is independent living only, and we ended up needing assisted living for my parents. The people here were all super nice though. I did think the facility itself was a little old looking.

grateful for Chateau, would recommend
They are short staffed like any independent living. But the staff do care about my parents and I feel they are safe there. I would have new folks get in writing the special sign up deals they will be offered. We had a bit of trouble with that but it worked out. Having it in writing would have made it easier though. It is good value for the money. We are grateful we chose them. Chateau de Boise has been a blessing and an answer to prayer. My parents are making new friends and no longer having to worry about their house and yard. My sister and I no longer have to worry that they are ok.

Would recommend
The main reason we chose Chateau De Boise was because they had a nurse on staff and they worked with Bluebird Healthcare. They also had the alert necklace provided for residents. My disappointment was once we got in here, they no longer had that nurse or Bluebird on site.
My mom has fallen a couple of times and they were wonderful with her and they were great with communication with me as well as soon as it happened.
